Jim's Father - Book Two {Completed}

I Can't Do Everything

It's been three days after that troll threw me and Aaarrrgghh wouldn't let anything hurt me and when we went to Trollmarket, I heard something loud and all the trolls stopped and looked "Blinky, what was that?" I asked "It's not safe here" Blinky said as Vendel came out "We must go!" Vendel said as Zianna nods her and a leads the trolls to Vendel's hut, Claire and Toby want her.

Blinky told me that I couldn't do anything while I'm healing and I listened to him, the sound gets louder. We went to Vendel's hut and when we got to the stairs, Aaarrrgghh was about to help me, but I didn't let him. I give him my crutches and try walking up the stairs "Master Jim, what are you doing?" Blinky said as I stop a hear something.

I turn around and see my dad behind Blinky "Blinky!" I said as I run down the stairs as Blinky turns around "Jim, say goodbye to Blinky" My dad said as he raised a knife with creeper sun poison on it "No!" I said as Blinky gets hit with the knife "Blinky!" Claire yelled and then after that, I started feeling dizzy.

"You're about to lose two people" My dad said as I fell to the ground "Jim!" Toby yelled, I could hear everything going on, until I blacked out.

Toby was beside me when I woke up, "Tobes, w-what happened?" I asked as I was trying to focus "A lot of stuff Jim..." Toby said as I remember Blinky "Blinky! Where is he!?" I said as Toby stood there and said nothing, Aaarrrgghh walked in with my crutches and then left "Tobes?" I said as Toby started talking "Your father... k-killed... Blinky" Toby said as I grab my crutches and left the Heartstone "Jim? Where are you going?" Toby said coming after me "Jim?" Claire said as I went to Blinky "B-Blinky..." I said as all the trolls move out of the way.

I looked at Blinky, he was turned into stone "No!" I said crying. "Blinky, I'm so sorry!" I said crying on him "Jim..." Claire said "Why... you?" I said "It have been me" I said as I get up and turn around "Jimbo?" Toby said as I pass him "Where are you going?" Zianna asked. I didn't answer, I kept going. I just went home and later on, Aaarrrgghh came. My mom asked Aaarrrgghh what was wrong with me and he told her, I was in my room thinking about Blinky and how I could have saved him. My mom walked in and started talking "Jim... honey" My mom said "T-this must be hard for you, b-but you don't have to go throu-" My mom said as I cut her off "Mom... I-I just want to be alone right now" I said as she nods her head and leaves the room. I stayed up all night, I couldn't sleep. All I was thinking about is Blinky and how my dad killed him. 

'My dad killed Blinky! He passed the line!'  I said in the my head. I didn't want anyone or anything near me. In the morning, I heard Claire and them talking to my mom.

"He doesn't want to talk to anyone right now" My mom said "How is he doing?" Claire said "I don't know, everytime I went to go check on him. He wanted to be alone" My mom said as I come downstairs, but I trip on my crutches and fall down the stairs "Jim!" Toby said as he helped me "You... ok?" Claire asked "Yeah, I'm fine".
