"Get up loser, we have our first day of Junior year today!" yelled Neels as he jumped up and down enthusiastically on my king sized bed.

Neels' mop of dirty blonde hair bouncing up and down as he jumped. His ocean blue eyes lighting up with excitement as he awoke me from my slumber. His perfect toothy smile beamed at me as he continued to annoy me, this time grabbing a pillow and throwing it directly in my face.

"Get off me Neels!" I yelled grabbing the yellow pillow that he tossed at me just moments before and threw it back at his face making him yelp back in surprise.

"Why? Is little Addie mad?" he asked innocently in a baby voice to mock me.

He was dressed in his normal black baggy ripped jeans, white top that hugged his muscular broad shoulders and his red and black varsity jacket from the last football season. His hair like what it usually is, a giant messy mop of hair on top of his head.

"No!" I answered annoyed,"Just get out, I want to frickin' sleep!"

"Oh, we both know you're going to freak out when we get to school late on the first day," he said in a know-it-all voice,"So let's save time and get up already!!"

"As if!" I said slowing getting out of bed,"I could have gotten an extra ten minutes of sleep if it weren't for your dumbass!"

"Really now?" he asked smirking.

"Yes!" I said.

"Well you're going to be dead in about five seconds, so I'll give you a head start, okay?" he said with the smirk still on his goofy face.

And with that I took off as fast as my legs could take me. I probably shouldn't go outside considering the weather and my current attire of Mickey Mouse short shorts and a white loose fitting tee. But me being me I head for the back door.

I hear Neels just behind me and run as fast as my legs can take me. He's trying out for the football team again this season so I'll probably never make it out alive, considering I'm probably the slowest girl in my school.

That's when I feel two long muscular arms wrap themselves around my waist, pulling me to a stop immediately. Holding me back from running away from this awful monster.

Damn you for being so fast!

I stood there out of breath, panting, trying to catch my breathe when I suddenly feel Neels start tickling me at my sides. And in seconds I am at my knees, begging for him to stop this torture.

"NE-EL-S ST-OP!" I said laughing, kicking my legs around.

"If you want me to stop you have to come to my football try outs with me after school!" he said smiling because he knew there was no way in hell I would stay back late just to watch a bunch of boys rip at each other.

You must be proud of yourself Neels.

"NEVER." I said barely being able to get the words out as I was flapping around on the ground like a fish out of water.

I feel sad for my neighbours, having to hear me die in my very own back yard by the hands of Neels. I wonder how much noise we're making at seven in the morning.

"Ple-ase s-to-p Nee-ls!" I shout one last time in desperation, gripping onto any hope I have left of getting out of his grip.

"Not until you say yes!" Neels said laughing evilly.

"Abra-frickin-no!" I scream back, pushing him off me as hard as I possibly could in one last attempt of getting away. I quickly run inside and jump onto the soft cloud couch in the living room. Hot on my heels behind me is Neels, still chasing after me. When will he give up?

"What may you two be up to this early in the morning?" Mum asks, eyeing us suspiciously.

My mother was possibly one of the most beautiful women you will ever lay your eyes on, she has light blonde hair and stunning green eyes. And just to top off how she's won in every gene lottery ever, she doesn't even look a day over twenty because of her slim figure and flawless skin. I wish I looked as good as her and I'm only seventeen.

Most of my features come from my father; I have his turquoise eyes and shiny light brown hair. I look more like my father than I do my mum.

But his name doesn't come up a lot around here.

"Oh morning, Ms Johnson," Neels greeted with a warm smile. Mum personally reminds Neels everyday to call her by her first name but I think he finds it nicer if he calls her by her last name? I don't know he's confusing.

"We're just playing a fun game of chasey" Neels answered with a goofy smile on his face.

"Oh really? What's with all the screaming now?" she asks, smiling as she takes a sip of her coffee. I know Mum doesn't actually care, she just wanted us to entertain her.

"Nothing! I'm just on my way up to my room to change, Neels will gladly keep you company while I'm changing. Bye!" I quickly shout and run up back to my bedroom.

"Addie!" I hear Neels shout from down the stairs, making me laugh.
