"Just don't run." She whispered taking his arm, attaching a cuff to his wrist and effortlessly zip-tie cuffing his hands behind his back.

"Sadie. I knew I saw you're eyes before; just like moms'." He whispered as Lincoln approached.

"It's kind of disturbing that you tried to seduce your own sister, Jaime." Lincoln scoffed as Lex took ahold of him.

"Well, I haven't seen her in years; my mistake." He spoke.

"Well should we head off? So much torture, so little time; we really must be going." Lincoln joked as his fist shot out and the quick jab hit Jaime in the kidney. He doubled over as the pain knocked all the air from his chest and Lex forced him upright. They turned to start heading back to the boat, but Sadie stopped by Kali drawing Lincoln's attention. "Come, dear sister. I will get you home as soon as we are through with our brother here."

"Can't I just get home from here by myself?" She asked as Kali grabbed ahold of her arm defensively. She looked to her friend with a soft smile but stepped in front of her.

"I still require you're help. Please, come with me, Sadie." He asked. Her response was a nod. She hugged Kali and she followed the men back to the boat.

Lincoln had no fear of being seen escorting a restrained man through the tiny town. He also didn't care as people looked on every time he hit Jaime. He enjoyed it because of the fear they all couldn't hide in their eyes. As they came to the boat he shoved Jaime causing him to fall hard onto the wood deck. Sadie went to go to him but Lex caught her gently with a short shake of the head, letting the other guy hoist him to his feet.

Going below deck, it had been transformed into an interrogation room and they threw Jaime onto the metal chair strapping him down. She saw the monitors and knew that was her part, as soon as they had finished immobilizing him to the chair, she hooked up the leads and wires to her brothers' tanned, glistening skin. His eyes never left hers as she gently adhered everything to him.

"Sadie, I would ask you to stay. To watch and feel the final justice for our parents." Linc asked and again she just nodded. "Once back to the main land, you are free to go. Please go and live your life away from this work and start a family—love them as mom and dad loved us." He spoke as he drove the screw driver into Jaime's leg. As he screamed in pain, Lex forced the gag into his mouth.

His muffled screams and gurgles of agony were almost too much for Sadie to bear. She couldn't watch half of the torture Linc was inflicting. She didn't even know half of what he was doing; but for Sadie, it was finally the end of the era of being a hired killer. She was now free—away from Lincoln and Jaime. She could finally move on with her life. She finally thought of the man she loved.

Addy allowed Dace to stay in the room for a while with the men still outside the door; she knew they were there to protect them if Sadie were to not come back. "She will be okay, right?"

"I really don't know. But it's no use to sit and stew on it. You need to be strong for your brother." Dace explained looking to Caanan and seeing no improvement.

"I don't even know if it's any use being strong. It's been over the twenty-four hour period and he's still not any better, almost forty-eight." She spoke sadly as Dace noticed the heart rate spike.

"Go get the doctor." Dace spoke before Addie even realized what was going on. She saw her brother starting to move and jumped from the chair to the hallway yelling for help.

Dace jumped to her feet and already was holding down Caanan's wrists as he began fighting her to get to the tube that was down his throat and up his nose. His nostrils were flaring, head trying to shake but stuck in place by the C-spine collar and he was starting to choke by the time the doctors were by Dace's side. They took over, moving her out of the way. It was painful for Addie to watch her brother as he groaned in pain as the tubes were removed. The C-spine collar was taken off as well and as soon as he was free Dace heard what she hoped she wouldn't.

"Sadie...." He whispers being muffled by the oxygen mask being put in place as the people still buzzed around him.

"Where is she?" Calder asked as well.

"She had something she had to go do personally; we hope to have her back soon." Dace explained as Addie consoled her brother who just wanted to see his girl at that moment.

"Rest Caanan, she will be back soon." Addie lied hoping to help him.

"It was Lincoln. He found her..." He fought against Addie who was holding him down at that point by the shoulders.

Dace's eyes widened, "she is safe as of now. I haven't had anything come back that she has been harmed. You need to rest and recover—be feeling better by the time she's back so she won't have to worry about you." Her words did nothing for him as she stepped forward to help Addie hold him down.

"Dace." Caanan breathed heavy as the sedative the nurse had injected started to take effect. His grip slowly loosened on his sisters arms.

"Can you call her? If he wakes again without her here, he will be strong enough to overpower us and could hurt himself." Addie questioned as Dace nodded in agreement leaving the room.

Thecall went straight to voicemail.
