"Just stop, Lincoln, please he isn't responding. He isn't in there anymore." Sadie pleaded with her brother as another cut caused no scream, no movement.

"I'm not done yet. They were in the car for hours before they died. He deserves far and much worse." He spat back his voice almost unrecognizable. His eyes scanned the room then focused on her looking deranged.

"He's already gone, there's no fight left, no life. He is gone." She spoke turning the machine up louder to the flat line beep that wasn't changing. "He's dead." It was that word: dead, that she had it caught in her throat.

"It's not fair. He deserved much worse." Lincoln fell to his knees, into the blood pooled around Jaime.

"It isn't fair, but that is life. He is gone, just as you wanted." She whispered staying still.

"Then you are free to go dear sister. Hurry back to the hunk and know that justice is done. You will never see me again." Lincoln stated getting to his feet, as he looked to himself seeing all the blood and just turned away. Sadie grabbed her bag and went above deck and saw something she would never expect. Lex had Kali by the hand and they kissed.

"So now where Ms. Sadie?" Lex asked seeing her come closer.

"I'm going home, back to the man I love who I hope is still alive and to a new life." She spoke as Kali sort of melted into Lex. She knew then Lex wouldn't be leaving with Lincoln either. He would stay with Kali.

"Here, Lincoln asked me to give you this to get home." He spoke giving a prepaid card to her. No doubt it had a decent amount of money to help her get home.

"Thank you." She answered as she hugged Kali, "I will keep in touch, maybe might even bring the boy here soon."

They exchanged the pleasantries, and with that Sadie took off at a run to the airport that wasn't far away. She had her pick of the airlines but looked to the note with the card.

Sadie,

Please go knowing that what we did was justice finally. We succeeded and for that I am grateful to you. There is already a first class seat on flight 8934 to Nashville set up for you. I love you, Sadie.

Lincoln

She looked around at that point noticing that there was no flight 8934 on any of the boards. It clicked then, she went to the desk for private charters and planes, "Hi, I'm here enquiring about flight 8934?"

"Ah, yes. We have been expecting you. Please follow me to the gate." The young woman spoke sweetly coming around the desk and leading her off to the left. She followed until she came to another desk and where a man stood.

"Ms. Monroe right on time. My name is Gage and I am your pilot. I hope everything you came to Greece for was to your liking? Mr. Trainor did make it sound as if you did enjoy your time but were ready to go back to the States." He spoke.

"Yes, I was here on business, and left a very sick friend back in Nashville—I am very eager to get back to him." I answered giving some detail but not enough.

"Well then please follow me," he motioned and I followed through the door down the gateway heading to the tarmac. "We will be making a stop in Iceland to refuel, but I should be getting you back the Nashville in about eighteen hours." And he was correct.

"We will be in the area for about an hour, would you like one of the stewardesses to take you into the town?" Gage asked coming from the cockpit.

"Yeah, that would be great." Sadie answered as one of the girls came up to her and lead her from the plane. They moved to a waiting car and drove into the town.

"Well, is there anything you wanted to do?" She asked turning down a busier street lined with shops. As Sadie looked out the window, the girl parked the car in front of a high end boutique. They both got out and used the time they had to buy what Iceland had to offer.

Once done, they headed back to the plane and to Gage who was ready for wheels up, "So only a few more hours now. You ready to be back home?"

"More than you could ever imagine. This has been more than eye opening and I know now what I want." Sadie explained looking to her phone and at a picture of Caanan.

When the wheels of the plane touched down in Nashville, the stairs to the tarmac led her straight to a car. The waiting car delivered her right to the front doors of the hospital where Riley was the first to see her. He took her up into a bear hug as Max looked on. "Put the poor girl down, dude."

"He's been moved, room 6295. It's on the sixth floor. End of the hall to the right of the elevators." Riley spoke as Sadie took off, she heard only the numbers but she could find it from there.

Her heart raced... Her head was spinning... She could barely stay standing in the elevator finally taking her to the new life she wanted and craved. She didn't know why he was moved and as the doors opened, the familiar face was there.

"Thank God Sadie." Dace threw her arms around her and pulled her close.

"He's dead." Sadie whispered and Dace just held tighter.

"Caanan's awake and has been fighting us tooth and nail. He knew about Lincoln, and about freaked out knowing you willingly went with him." She explained as Sadie pulled away and took off in the right direction she hoped and came face to face with the closed door to his room. She stood frozen, she had fought so hard to be at this point, to be back with him.

Beforeshe could think of what to do the door opened before her. "You're back!" Addie whispered loudly, "he'sasleep currently. They have had to keep him sedated and docile since he woke upafter the surgery. He knew you went with your brother and he almost lost it.Even after surgery he was still stronger than me." She joked but Sadie only sawhim at that point. Caanan lay in the room, tucked in and curled to the rightfacing more to the window.
