Chapter 2
It was a good Monday morning and Riley hopped out of his car, walking away from the parking lot.
It's been a week since him and Lola had their pajama party and it was grossing him out that he wore make up. His pictures were still at Lola and he was hoping to god that no one sees it.
Riley sighed and adjusted his glasses hanging onto his nose before going straight through the open doors full of busy teenagers.
He got his books and notebooks he needed and started to walk to his first class. After for a while, the bell rings and first and second period have just finished.
He entered his third period classroom few minutes early, and sited himself next to the window. It was just the start of school but god, he felt sluggish already! He wanted school to end quickly and marry his bed back at home. He wondered if it's just the side effects of the panic attacks he was having or just the signs that his hormones were overflowing.
"Looks like someone is having their period," a girl slid down to her table next to Riley -it was Olivia, whom he was friends with ever since freshmen.
She was the girl-next-door type of girl, wavy dark brown hair, slightly tanned skin, and sweet looking. She tucked the remaining hair struggling across her face into her ear and fishes out her book inside her bag. "So, what's up?"
"Nothing," Riley said dryly with his hand supporting his chin, supposedly looking bored.
"Oh, Ry, baby, is it love problems?" Olivia asked, slightly giving a smirk at Riley.
And with that, he lays his face flat on the table, his forehead touching the surface. "No. No it's not," he said muffling some of the words.
"If you wanted to copy my homework, you can just say so. No need to do drama and shit," Olivia says, her arrogant smile, hasn't left on her face.
Let's just say, Olivia was totally smitten with Riley. She always thought of him as a close friend that you really want to protect and all since he look so innocent and cute and sweet.
"Go away, Olivia," Riley said and Olivia laughs her ass off, with the room finally being full and the teacher finally walks in to start the class.
The time seems to pass like a blur and it was finally lunch time. Finally, Riley thanked the heavens. He just wanted to eat his lunch and get this over with.
Kids are around the huge cafeteria, eating and chattering in across the almost full room that made Riley have a hard time looking for someone to share a table with since the tables were all occupied. He was hoping that he would run into Olivia or maybe Lola anywhere here so he pushed himself inside.
And finally Riley spotted a pony-tailed brunette girl eating with some of their shared group friends a few meters away, and he immediately knew it was Lola.
He tried to move from his position to Lola's table but unexpectedly, he clumsily tripped, but a pair of strong hands caught his arm then pulled him against his body and held Riley's thin waist.
It's him.
He looked up against the boy who helped him and a pair of familiar hazel eyes stared right pass through Riley's baby blue. He froze and felt his chest heaved through the surprise that Cody saved him and saw him being such a total klutz again.
Oh god, Riley thought and his cheeks grew redder when Cody still wasn't letting go of his firm hands against Riley's waist.
Then he felt Cody's gaze grew intense with his half-opened eye lids are now starting at Riley's pink plump lips. He saw Cody sexily bit his lower lip and his grip towards Riley's waist was even stronger making them even closer, their faces close that he can inhale the same air Cody was breathing.
