Chapter 11
"Fucking hell," Cody muttered as he slowly rose up from the bed, scratching his hair. He was having a terrible headache right now, like there were dumbbells pounding on his skull, and his mouth tastes like thousand poisons and chemicals.
What the fuck did happen yesterday?
He can't remember anything at all. All he knows was that he went to a club yesterday and nearly drank himself to death. He didn't remember how he got home or how he ended up in the bed, naked with his boxers.
He squinted, the sun's rays were stinging his eyes and he feels like total shit right now. He grabbed the clock on the nightstand and it was freaking twelve in the afternoon already.
Shit.
He could remember the trouble he caused yesterday at school and no doubt he was dead as soon school starts again. He was debating to himself whether he'd go back to school on Monday or not. Cody didn't care anyway.
But then he remembered Riley. Shit, again, he smacked himself on his forehead, causing another stinging pain on his head. He did remember that Riley sent him over a hundred messages and he didn't even returned a single of his calls.
And he feels really bad right now. Where was he anyways?
Cody looked beside on the bed, the sheets were crinkled and it looks like he gotten up earlier than him. He sighed and relief poured inside of his chest. He thought he left him and leave the house while he was asleep.
He needed to find him.
Cody tried to stand up, holding his temples. He felt that pounding feeling on his head and his vision were slightly blurry. He walked slowly and grabbed the sides of the wall to stand up and walk across the room.
"Riley?" he called up on the closet and bathroom but he wasn't there. But when he turned, he saw his silhouette darting across the open door, the sun lighting him. He had both of his arms crossed on his chest, his expression was stern and serious.
"Good morning?" Cody smiled slyly.
"It's already in the afternoon, Cody," Riley said.
"Well, okay," he said back and went to grab his pants that were on the floor. He picked it up and struggled to put it back in so he wouldn't be naked.
Riley just stared at him by the door as he changed; his facial expression's still serious. "How much did you drink yesterday?"
He shrugged, "...I don't know."
"Wow really," Riley said, lifting his chin up in a stubborn manner.
"Why are you so pissed?"
He laughed mockingly. "What? Are you serious?" he stormed pass him and walked towards the closet to grab some clothes. Just before he could turn the knob, Cody's body pressed against him on his back and shut the door off, preventing him.
"Riley."
He stubbornly prevented himself to look back at him; he kept his serious face and swallowed a lump on his throat.
