Rose: hey. I'm coming by at 12. So be ready.

Philip: ok.

"Helen, rose is picking me up in 30 minutes. I think were going to the mall or something." Helen smiles and looks up "do you need some money?" He places his hands in his pockets looking out the door. "Uh...sure" Helen hands him $50. "Thanks." Philip puts the money in his wallet. "Where's gabe?" Walking over to the sink. "He had to go on an emergency call, he should be back before you leave tonight."

Rose pulled up in the drive way honking the horn telling Philip she was here. "Bye Helen, rose is here" he yelled walking out the door. "Ok, love you, be safe, txt me if you need to" Helen said standing on the porch. Philip got into the car pulling his seat belt on. "Hey, what's up" rose said smiling "hey. So where are we going?" Rose was driving down a dirt road with the music playing. "We gonna grab some lunch, then we're going to the mall." Philip laughed "I figured!"

Rose was still driving, music was the only noise in the car. We ate and we're headed to the mall. "So which store first?" Looking all around. "Umm... let's got to rainbow". We walked in and I was completely overwhelmed by all the bright colors. "I'm looking for a dress for my party tonight, I want it to be the biggest party of senior year". Rose said while exaggerating her hand motions. She picks a dress, pays for it, and we leave the store. "Now we have to find an outfit for you". "Rose.. I don't need a new outfit". "Oh Philip...sweet sweet Philip" rose looks at me and smiles. " of course you do, especially since Lukas is gonna be there".

I got my outfit and walked to a couple different stores before we left. Rose takes me home and we both get out and grab our shopping bags. We walk in to meet Gabe in the kitchen cooking dinner. "Hey guys how was your day" he smiles genuinely. Rose speaks first "it was good we got outfits for my party tonight". Helen walks in the kitchen to meet both the kids "can we see what you got?" Philip opens his bag pulling out a gray button down top with some dark blue jeans. Rose pulls out her baby pink cocktail dress with small pockets on each side of her waist. "You guys are going to look great tonight." Helen says clapping her hands together.

Rose and I go upstairs to get changed. Walking in the kitchen Gabe asks "would you like to eat before you go?" We both decline and make our way to the door. "Ok. Have fun, be safe, use condoms.... both of you". Rose and I share a disturbed look. "Helen" Gabe says "sorry" he mutters. "Let us know if your staying the night ok?" "Yea. I will. Love you, see you later" I say walking out behind rose.
