Happy Anniversary

Philip's POV

It was 1:00 on a Friday afternoon. I was sitting in gps waiting for the bell to ring. It's Memorial Day weekend so we had early dismissal. The bell rang and I packed my bag with my books and paper and walked out as fast as I could. Lukas and I had the whole weekend planed out. His dad was away for business and that meant we could do whatever whenever we wanted.

I waited outside the corridors for Lukas. He surprised me with a kiss on my cheek. "Omg! You scared me." He chuckled and gave a side smirk. Hand in hand we walked to his bike talking about what we were gonna do. "Why are you rubbing your cheek? You're rubbing off my kiss." Laughing I said "you shocked me" turning on his bike "the electricity between us must be something if it hurt that much!" We put on our helmets and drove off. We had to make a stop at my house first.

We walked in the house meeting Helen at the door "hi boys. How's it going?" A smile appeared on my face "were good, just came home to get some stuff." I then ran up the stairs. "So what do you two have planned for this weekend?" Gabe said giving Helen a side hug. "I was planning on taking Philip to this really nice restaurant. Also I got him a gift!" Helen smiled and looked upstairs to see if Philip was still in his room. "What'd you get him?" She said in a whisper. I slowly pulled out a small velvet box decorated with gold sparkles embedded inside. I reveled the promise ring and Helen's eyes lit up. "That's beautiful Lukas!" She said with tears blurring her vision. "Philip is gonna love this. This must of cost a fortune" I put the ring away and replied "yea it did actually! I've been saving ever since we got together. I want to give him the best. He deserves nothing less." I smiled at the comment I made.

Lukas' POV

He finally came down stairs with his bag in hand. We both gave Helen and Gabe hugs before we walked out the door. "Have fun!" Helen and Gabe shouted standing on the porch. We jumped on my bike and we were off to my place.

Walking inside the empty house, there was a note on the counter from my dad.

Hey Lukas, I'm gone for business this weekend but I might be gone longer. I'll let you know if I am. I left you some money. I didn't know what you'd be doing so here's $500. Have fun and be safe, and happy anniversary.
Love you, dad.

"Dude! 500 bucks! What are we gonna be doing this weekend." Philip said. "You'll just have to wait and see." I said laughing pulling him upstairs. We dropped our stuff off in my room and laid on the bed for a while. We actually drifted off to sleep for a few hours.

We woke up at 4:30 smiling at each other. Looking down into his beautiful brown eyes I break the silence "hi" I said in a raspy voice. He replied with the same and nuzzled his face in my neck; wrapping his arms around my torso.

Later that night

Philip's POV

"So what do you wanna do tonight?" Looking up at Lukas while sitting on the couch. "Umm....I don't know. What do you wanna do?" He says playing in my hair. "It doesn't matter to me" hesitantly I say "but I kinda wanna stay in tonight if that's ok." He smiles down at me "of course it's ok."

"C'mon lets make some cookies!" Pulling Lukas from the couch and into the kitchen. "What kind you wanna make?" I ask him while looking through cabinets. "Lets make 'em all!" Laughing I pull all of the cookie packets down. Peanut butter, chocolate chip, M&M, and double chocolate.
