Spin the bottle 3/3

We pull up to rose's house. It's 6:00, the party starts at 7:00 so we only had an hour to set up. We get out the car and walk to her front door and she unlocks it.  

"We only have an hour before people start showing up"

"Rose....your really bad with time. We should have left earlier"

"Philip....really your gonna do this now.." she giggles.

"Alright well I'm gonna get the food and drinks set out, you go get the music ready"

"Thanks Philip"
I smile and nod my head.

It's barely 7 and people start showing up. The music is playing and rose is greeting her guests. I'm standing in the kitchen with a cup full of liquor, rose made it, I don't know what she mixed. Looking out at the crowd getting bigger and bigger by the minute with more students; I see rose having a good time and I can do is smile.

Rose and I are sitting in the living room talking.

"Rose it looks like your having a lot of fun."

"Yea I am. What about you?"

I shrug playing with the rim of of the cup. " I thought you said Lukas was coming?"

"He is. "

"When? It's been an hour and a half "

"Philip...he will be here." She says rubbing my back.

I get up to refill my cup. Rose comes up behind me and grabs my hand. "Come on Philip were dancing" she says shouting over the loud music. I give in and join her. Trampoline booty was the song that was playing. I only know that because that's her favorite twerking song.

She was twerking all up on me. But I didn't care because she's my best friend and I'm gay so..... I was dancing like I wasn't gay grabbing her hips and grinding on her. You know what the parents call it "dirty dancing". A lot of other people around us were doing the same thing.

More tweaking songs came on and I was still dancing and having a good time with rose. Then I feel a set of hands. Large hands and feel hair in my neck. And not my own. My hips swaying side to side and my eyes grow big and Rose turns around unaware and she sees Lukas behind me. Her smile so big and bright and she mouths to me 'turn around'. I do just that and my eyes meet soft blue ones. I back up a little to get a better view. I smile a little as my face creeps up to turning red.

We go on with the night like nothing happened. I pull rose to the side. "Rose.. did you just see that!" I said with the biggest smile on my face. "Yea I did. I always knew he had a crush on you!" She says jumping up and down. "I have an idea. Txt Helen and tell her your staying the night." She winks at me and walks away. I did what she said and continued with the party.

It was nearly 1am when people headed home. Around 1:45 it was just me, rose, Lukas, and this kid brandon rose had a crush on. The music was still playing but it was low. We still had pizza and liquor left over. Rose breaks the ice. "Let's play a game." Brandon chimes in and says "let's play 7 minutes in heaven". I glance over at rose and smile.

"Alright Philip and Lukas you go first"

I look at Lukas to see his reaction but he's already on his feet.

"Lets go" he says

I get up and follow behind him and close the closet door.

"So...."

I look up and stare at his face.

"You and rose are pretty close huh?"

"Yea. We are."

The whole 7 minutes we just made small talk.

20 and a beer later we play spin the bottle. "Are there any rules" I turn to rose "not this time" she says. "I'll go first" brandon says. He spins the bottle and our eyes on it till it stops. It lands on rose. That was to easy. Lukas spins and it lands on me. I'm my head I do a little dance. We look at each other and scoot closer; he cups my cheeks and leans in. My eyes locked on his lips and go in. I can feel brandon and rose staring but I don't care. Our kiss deepens and my hands tangled in his hair and his hands finds my waist. He pulls me so close almost to the point where I'm on top of him. We have this heated make out season that last for 10 minutes. When we pull apart I turn red as a cherry. Rose breaks the silence again. "Well damn! That was a sight to see!" Lukas laughs and grabs my hand. Brandon was cheering after rose had said that. "It was about time y'all kissed" brandon said standing up.

It was close to 3:30 when we called it a night. Lukas and Brandon left and rose and I were laying in her bed drifting off to sleep. "Did you have fun Philip?" "Yea I did." We said in sleepy voices. With that we were sleep in less that 5 minutes.
