"Celine, please wake up." An unfamiliar male voice said as he slightly shook my shoulder, I stirred and groaned lowly, until my eyes snapped open.I jumped into a sitting position and quickly turned my gaze to the unfamiliar male, as I panted loudly.
He smiled warmly but my brows only furrowed, who is this man? I trailed my gaze down his body and noticed he was wearing a white doctor coat and then I sighed in relief, he was the pack doctor.
"Yes?" I asked softly, my breathing hitched as I tried to calm my speeding heart, he looked at me with some sort of pity but I averted my eyes, I don't want to see that anymore, from anyone.
"When you were brought in, alpha Dustin said he saved you from an attack. He said you were attacked by rogues out in the woods and your wounds were really bad. You had a broken nose but due to your healing, its fine now and it'll only be a little sore, so don't touch it. Your cheek is also healed, only you have a small scar on it, but its barely visible. And your jaw, is taking its healing time, which is unusual since you have strong healing powers but purple finger tips are clearly visible and other than all that, i'm just here for a check up." He explained in a really slow pace, allowing me to process all his words but I just blinked, he looked at me warily.
He didn't believe how I could be so calm. But, when you go through a life of abuse and torture, you get used to it.
"Oh." I muttered under my breath, a sad expression claiming my face, his brows furrowed. He was wondering why my mood changed, that was because Dustin did all of this, not some rogues. My mate did this and he would do it again, in a heartbeat.
"So if you are fine with it, can I do some check ups on you?" He asked kindly, placing his hand warmly on my shoulder and giving it a squeeze of reassurance, I put my lips in a thin line and nodded, feeling how my wild hair bounced with the move of my head.

•"Well, everything seems normal, you are free to be released at anytime, you wish." He said proudly, giving me a bright smile once he brought his head back up from his notes, I smiled back but merely.
"Great, i'll leave right now." I said in a whisper, biting my bottom lip at the wary gaze he was giving me. Then, he nodded and fixed his posture.
"Alright, if you have any more problems or any kind of pain, come here and ask for me, Doctor Andrew." He said politely making my heart warm up, he was really nice. I licked my lips and nodded gratefully.
"Oh and could you do me a favor, can you inform Marina Cadman, that I am being released and need clothes?" I asked quietly, my stomach twisting in knots for his answer, he bit his lip and his eyes narrowed as he thought of what to do.
"It's ok if you don-"
"I'll do it." He cut me off and gave me a great answer with a small chuckle, I smiled widely and nodded my head.
"Thank you so much!" I said happily, noticing how his eyes held some kind of admiration, I calmed myself and watched as he cleared his throat.
His cheeks tinged red and he nodded curtly, mouthing a bye before walking off, I smiled and removed the plain white covers off me, then I slid off the bed and hit the ground.
I pushed my hands on the bed to hold my balance and once I was on my own two feet, I let go and suddenly my legs turned to jello.
