01 week laterThird Person POV
It's been completely chaotic. All the packs have heard of the danger that now lurked in the woods — of the hungry demon that was filled with vengeance.
They heard of the fifty innocent people that were killed - heard of the chaos that the darkness left behind.
Nobody was safe. Not even the strongest creature.
The devil silently lurked the woods of the CreekSide pack with hungry eyes and dark veins that traveled all throughout Celine's cheeks.
The night was cold - colder then usual, and all of the Alpha's were creating plans, and alliances to defeat the sudden evil they were all up against.
Nobody understood what tactic they needed to use to save themselves and their pack - they didn't even understand what they were going up against.
They've heard of how fast the creature is, how dangerous, and how bloodthirsty. But it supposedly had no weakness.
No weakness - that meant nobodies safe.
"We need to establish safety for the women!" The Beta of CreekSide told his Alpha strongly - his face hard and void of any human emotion.
"Pfft! The women?! Who cares about them? They can all die for all I care! They're useless to me and this pack!" The Alpha's reply boiled up anger in the spirit like never before.
This anger had a reason - this anger and hatred was explainable. This anger was Celine's.
The spirit thrives on the anger from all of Celine's traumatic memories of what she had to endure in CreekSide.
Of all the torture she had to go through.
The pain and the heartache made the spirits blood run colder then ever, and it's eyes were glowing a bright red in the moonless night - yet neither the Beta nor Alpha noticed.
"But Alpha-"
"Don't question me Abraham! I am your Alpha! I know what's best for this pack." The Beta (Abraham), had a scowl on his face and his brows were furrowed - he was conflicted.
The spirit wanted to cackle menacingly - already knowing what the night had in store for these horrible men - for the men that ruined Celine's soul more then the devil ever could.
"I need us to beat the devil that's been running around like a pup on Halloween night. I want that devil's head in my hands. I want it's death to be caused by me!" Alpha Niall yelled out, with his hands in tight fists and his lips in a thin line.
The Beta chuckled humorlessly while nodding - his hands rubbing across his face as his eyes twinkled hungrily.
The spirit still listened in - like a predator it's prey.
It knew what it was doing the second it allowed its red eyes to shift back to that warm, chocolate brown color that was fairly known by these men.
"F-father?" That voice - it made both of the men almost break their necks to hear where it came from.
"Is that?" The Beta asked in complete confusion, looking around with his Alpha for the person who just called out for her father.
"I bet it is." The Alpha said with a wild smirk and a devilish gleam in his eyes - he began to stomp closer to the woods where the careless devil stood.
"F-father. I'm lost." That voice whispered lowly - it was just as weak and soft as always - at least to Niall's ears.
They were both able to pinpoint directly where the sound came from, and the sight of the girl that was hiding behind the trees made their eyes widen.
"Hello, Celine." Niall's voice made shivers erupt on his Beta's skin - anyone was able to detect his disgust and hatred for this girl.
The spirit licked her lips while widening her eyes hungrily - to them this looked like innocent confusion, but they didn't realize who this person actually was.
"F-father, I need to show you something." The spirit wanted to cackle loudly at their dumbfounded expression.
Celine's anger and hatred was becoming too hard to control for the spirit - but it didn't want to alert everyone by shifting back, it needed to bring these men to an empty spot in these woods.
"What is it this time, you pathetic brat? What makes you even think you're welcome here?" Niall asked, the spirit could feel its blood begin to boil angrily - not liking the way it was being spoken to.
"I-I'm sorry. Just come, please!" And then she turned around and ran off - completely sure these men would follow her.
And they did...they took the bait.

•ELIJAH'S POV
"How will this end?" I asked the moon, pleading for an answer as I tightened my hold around the small, glass orb.
"This won't end. At least, not on its own. For she - just like her Mate was given a prophecy and they chose to end their bond instead of completing it - due to this, the moon is angered, and the consequences will certainly be severe." That answer only confused me, and I felt my emotions spiral crazily as I tried to fight against the pull to the real world.
"What does that even mean? Please, give me a direct answer!" I begged helplessly, just wanting any glimpse of hope of saving my friend and the whole werewolf race.
"Your friend Celine has turned against the Moon. It might not have been purposely, but she did it. Her Mate Dustin had also turned against the Moon - but he had done so purposely, and for that he will be punished." I was getting impatient with these riddle-like answers, and the pull to the real world was suddenly becoming too strong to fight.
"I don't have enough time for this! Give me a real answer!" I begged once again, feeling the darkness around me spiral and a breeze suddenly blow at my face.
"Your friend Celine's only hope is the one that had triggered the devil and allowed it to fully take over. That person will be her only savior." And with that I felt the breeze pick up and the orb begin to disappear in my hand.
I opened my eyes and the lights in the room flickered on simultaneously on their own.
I gripped the ends of my hair and turned around to face my Mate who stood by the doorframe watching me intensely with her expecting gray eyes.
"I got nothing. They fed me riddles, but gave me no exact answer." I told her honesty, huffing out when I felt the tip of my nose burn - she frowned hopelessly.
"Well if the Moon won't help us. Then we need to find someone who will fast, because this spirit is only getting stronger. I mean you saw how easy it was for it to kill Lexie while we were all here, and who knows how much easier it was for it to kill the rest of those innocent people." She explained hoarsely, while her lips thinned.
"I know. Trust me, I know. But, if we don't find something in the next couple of months or so - then nobody is safe. Nobody."
