I laid there, on my bed, in my dirty dress with my hand draped over Arsenio's small sleeping body, low snores escaping him while his chest went up and down, following his even breathing.

I felt a ghost smile lay on my lips as I sighed lowly, my eyes drooping as I kept my gaze firmly on my baby boy, inwardly I was jumping up and down, which Lia was already doing, she was excited and happy, because finally were back with our baby.

I heard my door creak open, but I didn't move, I stayed where I was, my helpless gaze on my baby, too scared to move, my heart wasn't ready to lose him again.

"Hey Celine." Came Marina's soft voice, I sighed and bit my lip, shutting my eyes slowly, but I remained awake.

"We were very worried about you previously, you gave us quite the scare." She continued, her voice ending up in a small whisper as she neared me, I heard the low gasp that escaped her lips and my eyes slowly opened, I raised my head and saw her's was on my babies, I growled lowly and pulled him closer towards me, not allowing anyone near him.

"W-who's he?" She asked, her eyes hesitantly trailing to mine, I sighed and pursed my lips.

"M-my son." I replied, my voice hoarse and dry, I let out a cough and shook my head, her eyes widened.

"Y-your son? Wh-whose the father?" She asked me, her gaze going from mine to my son's and back, I sighed and leaned my head closer to my son, the sleeve of his shirt tickling my cheek and his scent fully invading my nostrils.

"Yes he is my son, and the father is dead." I replied dryly, not caring at all about the father of my child, who also ended up as a betrayer, one of her brows raised and a small smile tugged her lips.

"He's adorable." She whispered, changing the subject and lightening the mood, I chuckled and smiled while tilting my head and staring at my beautiful son's face.

"He is." I whispered while nodding my head.

"Hey baby." I cooed softly, as Arsenio watched me closely his eyes twinkling while he murmured incoherent words, I chuckled while dipping him inside the filled tub, laying him against my bare chest, allowing the water to clean us both.

He thrashed around a bit before relaxing into the water, I hummed softly while cupping some water in my hand and slowly pouring it over his small head, rubbing my hand carefully into his soft dark hair, he giggled making my heart melt.

"Mama." He mumbled making my eyes widen, he slapped his small hands against the top of my chest making me nod my head.

He called you mama!
I know Lia, he's picking up the pieces and putting my heart back together.
Let's just hope he's enough.

I watched him splash the water around us, as I leaned my back against the cool tub, keeping my eyes firmly on my son, who played around freely, as if he never left.

Marina's POV

"How're you doing Dustin?" I asked my brother, who stayed chained close to the wall with his head low, he chuckled dryly and raised his head, showing me his injuries once again but I didn't feel bad, I knew he deserved it.

"How do you think Marina?" He asked me, his voice coming out dull and hoarse making him clear his throat quickly, I smirked while placing my hands on my hips.

"Oh you don't look that bad Dusty, come on! Be a man and suck it up!" I yelled out teasingly, throwing my hands in the air just to anger him more, his jaw clenched and I watched his brow raise.

"Marina. Don't. Start. With. Me." He grit out angrily, his chained hands shaking in the fists that he kept clenched tightly, I grinned and barked a laugh.

"Whatcha gonna do baby bro? Your chained." I reminded all too happily, even pointing at his hands, he growled loudly and tried to tug away making me shake my head and click my tongue.

"You know, your mate Celine is back." I said, wanting to get some kind of response from him regarding her, he showed me his canines and chuckled dryly.

"My mate? I don't have one." He stated firmly while smirking and shaking his head, I growled lowly and clenched my fists.

"You do! And she's with her son right now, she looks scared, almost impatient, as if waiting for something to happen or someone to take her." I explained my eyes narrowing with every word, he growled loudly making my heart clench.

"She has a son?!" He asked menacingly, his hands once again shaking violently with his anger, I nodded my head warily, keeping a single brow raised.

"That pathetic so called mate, couldn't even wait." He stated in frustration while growling once again, I chuckled dryly at that.

"And you did?" I retorted angrily while letting out a scoff, he smirked and shrugged.

"I'm a man." He stated proudly, puffing his chest and acting as if he owned the world, even though he's chained to a wall, I pursed my lips and nodded teasingly.

"More like a coward." I spat out while chuckling dryly, his eyes darkened while he shook his head.

I coughed and cleared my throat, he opened his mouth but I paused him by making a stop motion with my hand, he glared at it evilly.

"The thing I forgot to mention is, she's barely speaking." I added on, taking in a deep breath before exhaling, remembering how before I left Celine's room all she did was nod and hum at my statements, not once looking away from her son like she had when I first entered her room.

"Thank God!" Dustin replied, his brows furrowing in confusion, I widened my eyes angrily and shook my head while letting out a growl.

"Dustin! I want you to speak to her." I said, my words coming out strong, he scrunched up his face and later let out a chuckle while staring at me in disbelief, I nodded and placed my hands back on my hips.

"Why would I talk to her?" He asked me, I sighed and slapped a palm onto my forehead, huffing and shaking my head on it, wondering why I have an idiotic brother that Celine is sadly cursed with.

"You are her mate, you're the only one that could help her, please Dustin." I begged, trying my hardest to persuade him into talking to her, he rolled his eyes and clenched his jaw, evidently he hated that idea.

"I'm chained Marina." He reminded while tugging on the chains and groaning as his back slapped against the wall, I bit my lip to prevent a chuckle, he noticed and deepened his glare, I covered my mouth and shook my head, my cheeks warming up.

"I will get them to let you free, only if you agree to this." I claimed, lowering my hands and waiting for his response, he growled and furrowed his brows, while clenching and unclenching his hands.

I waited impatiently while my wolf stirred inside of my head, glaring at Dustin.

"Fine." He replied, his words leaving with the air around us in a harsh whisper as he sent a deadly glare my way once again, I bit my upper lip and nodded my head, hugging my upper body.

Let's hope that's a good idea Marina.
Trust me, it is.
