Our Love Lasts Forever

My name is James Diamond and ever since my sophomore year in high school I have had a crush on my best friend's twin sister. My best friend is Kendall Knight and his twin sister aka my crush is Katie Knight. Katie is one of the most beautiful and prettiest girl I have ever laid my eyes on. She has the perfect body like a model you would see in a Victoria Secret magazine. She has a gorgeous smile. The world's best giggle and she has the prettiest brown eyes that you could get lost in and not know where you are. She is smart, funny and fun to be around. I am now dating her and we have been for 3 years now. I couldn't be any happier then I already am. I remember the day we shared our first kiss like it was yesterday. That day was Kendall and Katie's high school graduation party. Katie tripped and fell, I panicked and ran really fast to catch her and I did. She said thanks and we looked into each other's eyes and both leaned in and kissed. I will never forget that it may not be that big of a deal but it was our first kiss.

Today is the day I'm taking Katie out to celebrate her 21st birthday. She may have turned 21 two weeks ago but I'm still taking her out to celebrate. On a date, since we have been together for 3 years now I have a plan to ask her to marry me so I can be with her for the rest of my life. We were on are way to the restaurant when we were crossed an intersection. I was driving and Katie was in the passager's seat. When all of sudden a car at about 50mph came crashing into us hitting the passager's side knocking Katie out. I just got whip lash and we were both rushed to the hospital. I came out fine but Katie still wasn't out yet. I'm really worried. I'm in the waiting room and after a while the doctor come out and says friends or family of Katelyn Grace Knight? I walk to the doctor and say that would be me. The doctor looked at me and says "I'm very sorry but Katie has slipped into a coma and we don't know if she will make it. My eyes filled with tears and I managed to choke out..... "Can I see her? The doctor nodded and said "she is in room 111...... With that he walked away and I ran to her room. Tears streaming down my face at the sight her... her laying there lifeless. This was all took place a year and half ago........
