'Sometimes we say things we don't mean because we know there is a specific person watching.'

Elena

Lazy days. I love them. Just as I was about to cuddle in my bed and watch movies with ice cream, my phone rang.

Hayden.

"Hello?" I answered and there was a groan. Um, what the hell?

"Hayden?" I asked a bit uncomfortably, I mean, what if she was having sex. "Elena, you will not believe what happened last night, I was dancing and singing in my room all fucking retarded and then Zayn walks in then, I found out he recorded me and I chased him because I wanted him to delete it and I tripped and he slipped and fell on top of me then I kissed him to get his phone and I ran to my room and deleted the video after I slipped his phone under the door to give to him, and then he left and I had to go wash my face so I did, and THEN, he slammed me up against the wall and kissed my jaw, neck and throat and I fucking moaned, why the hell am I so stupid but, after that he said not to play a game I can't win and then he left me all flustered and alone in the hall way, what the fuck do I do!?" She ranted.

"What?" I asked. "Elena!" She yelled clearly annoyed that I didn't understand what she had just said. I giggled. "Hayden, I thought you didn't like Zayn, why would you kiss him?" I asked and she sighed. "I don't know it just seemed like the right thing to do." She said.  "So have you talked to Live about your date?" She asked quickly changing the subject. "It isn't really a date, Hayden." I said and she scoffed. "Okay, fine what would you call it?" She asked and I could practically see her smirking through the phone.

  "I don't know just not a date." I muttered.

"Well, are you nervous?" She asked, truth is; I am extremely nervous. "Yeah, I mean, I know nothing about him and it's a bit uncomfortable I guess." I answered honestly. "Well, that's why you go on a date and talk, it helps with getting comfortable, Elena." She said.

I mentally sighed. "Hayden, I know that its just that, I feel like I can't just go on a date and have a good time." I paused but Hayden started talking. "If its because of Anthony, then I suggest you wait it out a bit, take baby steps." She said and I nodded, even though she couldn't see me.

"It is." I whispered. "Something about this whole situation just doesn't sit right with me." I said.

"How about you let lose tonight." Hayden stated. "What do you mean 'let lose'?" I asked. "Lets go to a club." She answered. "Hayden, I'm only nineteen and you're twenty, we aren't old enough." I answered her. "That's why we go to my uncles club." She said in a 'duh' tone. I groaned.

"You so owe me for this, Hayden." I said and she cheered.

I tugged down my red skin tight dress and had a bit of a stumble in my walk. This night didn't seem right, today felt wrong. Like something was just waiting to happen. I looked to Hayden to see a wide grin plastered on her face. "Come on he knows we are coming and said to go to the front." She instructed.

There was a bouncer at the door, he looked awfully familiar. He looked at me and winked, those eyes; I've seen them before. "Hayden go on in and, take your friend with you." He said still looking at me.

"Damn you Hayden, I was supposed to be in bed and he junk food but, you decided to drag me out here." I muttered.

She grinned, "Oh hush, you won't be saying that when a hot guy is all over you." She said with a wicked smile and wink.

I walked over to the bar after Hayden decided to ditch me. "What can I get you?" She asked. "Anything that will get me drunk fast."

She brought me a drink and I looked down at it, it was a pink liquid. I looked at her and she smirked. I picked it up and downed the drink. The beverage burning my throat. "Another?"

"Another."

I felt a body come up from behind me, guiding my movements. His hands on my waist and his front on my back. I slid my hands up his arms and hooked one arm around his neck.

Then I saw him. The bouncer guy. I immediately backed away from him and scurried off somewhere in the crowd, him following behind me.

Don't look back Elena, just don't look back.

I looked back and realized how close he was. I began to walk faster, I was almost sprinting.  He started to do a light jog. That is when I began running, pushing people out of my way. I made my way outside of the club, still running. I kicked my heels off, running faster.

I was going to die, I was going to die.

Suddenly, a hand went over my mouth and an arm around my waist and backed us into a wall.

"Shh." The voice whispered.

Levi.

"Come on." He whispered and guided me towards his car.

"How did you know." I asked quietly. He shrugged, "I was in the area and saw you." He simply answered. "But, your car? It was on the other side of the club, where I wasn't." I said confused.

"I saw you when I was walking to the club, and you looked panicked." He said.

I nodded and sat back in the seat.

That unsettling feeling was still there.

Like, it wasn't the end of the night. Something or someone was still lurking around, maybe it wouldn't happen today. But it will happen, soon.
