"Bulls***." Dean hissed, throwing his hands into the air, "That's impossible!"
"Of course, she isn't just a fallen angel." Gabriel continued, ignoring Dean's accusations, "She is very special. She's an archangel."
"But there's only four," Sam argued, "You, Michael, Raphael, and Lucifer."
"Nah," Gabriel shrugged, "That's just a little joke. Lizbeth never really liked being well known. There isn't only four, dummy."
"What do you mean?"
"You see, every angel is the angel of something. Like your boy-toy, Cas," he winked at Dean, "Castiel is the angel of Thursday. Anyway, most Angels are made to watch over something boring, like literature or fish. Yet the archangels are given something important to look over. Light. Darkness. The works. That little sis of ours is the archangel of Misery. Well, all emotions, actually. But mainly things such as misery."
"Still not saying how she fell." Dean growled.
"Sure thing, Dean-O. After Luci and I left, she lost it. She never did like Raph or Mike. So she left. Took her a while, though. First, she had to get rid of her wings. She tore out the feathers, which is actually quite painful, believe me. Hacking her wings to sauce isn't fun either. You know when it rained red water, a while back? That was her blood. She gave her grace to me, and fell. Promised me she would be right back. Said we could be trickster siblings. But she never came."
"What did you mean by, 'I thought you were dead'?" Sam asked.
"Well, as I said, she never came back. Turns out she just fell a little bit too far."

"So what happened? Why did he know me?" Lizbeth asked her brothers the moment they left.
"He was joking. Trying to escape." Dean lied, not looking at her, afraid his eyes would give his lies away.
"Oh. For a moment I thought it might have been important." She laughed and trotted off to the impala.
Castiel walked up. "Dean, Sam. What actually happened?" He stood stiff.
"It turns out she's a fallen archangel."
Castiel stiffened more.
"As in... Lizbeth? The Archangel of Emotion?"
"That's the one."
"... I'm guessing you're going to keep this from her?"
"For a little while."
"You're afraid it will turn out like Anna."
"Yeah."
