The pharaoh believed us shockingly, he said I had a different air about me unlike others. Boy did he have no idea. However once he heard about the Queens plan right from Ka's mouth his mood became very dark. Not that I could blame him but something told me I wouldn't want to be the Queen at this moment.
"He plan would not work, on this side I have another heir who will be born with my blood but not my sisters." The pharaoh admits and I can see he is a little shy about it. "Takra"
After calling out a name I didn't remember a woman walks forward, one that I do remember however. She was the one who saved us when we were injured by the general and his group of fools. I should have known there was something going on between them. Going to the Pharaoh Takra takes ahold of his with a bright smile on her face.
"Takra is with child, my child and I will deal with my sister as well. Neferure I am so sorry for all the trouble that has become you but if Ka is not the father of your child then who is?" the Pharaoh questions and my stomach drops.
"I am." Aro speaks up as he walks to my side. "The child she carries is mine, and I am very thankful to the gods that of all women upon this earth my child will have her as a mother."
I couldn't say anything since I was in a state of shock as to what Aro had just told the Pharaoh who instead of arguing or being mad smiled at us happily. Ka on the other hand just rolled his eyes. Hannah of course tried to hold back a giggle but I could still hear her.
"The child will be in good hands, I doubt you will wish to stay in Egypt though." The Pharaoh states calmly.
That was a good question, I don't think Aro wanted to stay here and since our case was a very rare one there was no exact protocol to it. Not that I didn't like Egypt but something deep inside me told me our child would be better off in Rome, not to mention I could also get revenge on my father in law as well as Alexanders crazy minions. Wouldn't that be priceless to go back and just kick their butts?!
"Rome, we would go home to Rome." Aro spoke up as he took my hand in his. "Where we both belong."
"I have nothing but the best wishes for you both. Please do allow me to use you for my plan one last time though?" the Pharaoh simply requested and I wasn't one to tell him no before so highly doubtful that I would start now.
Three hours later, Ka and I were still acting like a happy and loving couple talking about the baby as we made our way to the throne room. There the Pharaoh was on his throne with the Queen sitting right beside him with a sour look upon her royal face. Aro and Hannah were in the wings of the throne room waiting for their moments as the pharaoh began to talk.
"I have heard rumors wife, rumors that you and the sorceress had a plan...a very disturbing plan." The pharaoh begins as he stands from his throne.
"What rumors my pharaoh?" the queen asks as a bit of fear appears on her face.
"Plans of stealing a child and claiming it as our own. Is this true?"
The queen goes pale as a ghost as Ka holds onto me tightly. Turning her sights on us she glares at us. She was pissed because she knew that we had ratted her out. Not that I cared, I believe whatever the Pharaoh would do to her would be something well deserved.
"Six failed attempts from the gods for and heir and now not only to anger them but to anger me as well you tell your lover to marry one of my loyal guards, impregnate her and then once the child is born claim it as your own?! That is the worst plan I could ever think you would try! Did you think Neferure would not fight you for her child?" the pharaoh demanded an answer and though her eyes were still set on Ka and I she did give an answer.
"I would have killed her after the child was born, she would be worthless to me then!" the queen yelled in reply to the Pharaoh.
"Murderer...my own flesh and blood...you have disgraced me not only as my sister but as my wife as well. Your job is done you may keep the title of queen but hear me now, there is no power behind that title. I have and heir that will be born very soon and not by you. You may live out the rest of your days in the palace but never come near me or any of those that are in this room unless I summon you." The Pharaoh decrees.
"What?! Brother, Pharaoh you cannot do that to me! I am all that you have, dearest brother have I not served you well?!" the queen yells as she throws herself dramatically at his feet.
"Your plan failed sister, the child Neferure carries is not Ka's." the pharaoh states bluntly and she raises her head in shock.
Looking back to Ka and I she watches as I move out of Ka's embrace and out of the shadows Aro comes up and takes my hand is his while his free hand carefully moves to hover above my stomach. This showing her that Aro is the father of my child and not Ka. Yelling as loud as she can the queen jumps up and runs towards me. As if I didn't see this coming, just as I move to fight her Aro and Hannah stand before me. Hannah grabs the queen and pushes her backward and she tumbles back onto the floor.
"No one touches my sister, not even a disgraceful queen like you." Hannah states as she tries to hold back the anger no doubt flowing through her body.
"You ruined everything! You two must be demons for you are evil." The queen cries as she slowly sits up.
"Well if that isn't the pot calling the kettle black." I retort.
The pharaoh walks up to the queen and helps her to stand as he whispers something we don't hear into her ear we all watch as he eyes widen. Then with a snap of his fingers the guards come into the throne room and their orders are to take the queen to her chambers so the pharaoh may deal with her later. The queen no longer having any other options reluctantly follow the guards.
"Well this is going to be one long lifetime." Ka states with a long sigh.
"You brought this upon yourself, for the love of all that's holy find a sane girl!" I cry out to him.
"Can't Aro took the only sane one." Ka chuckles.
"Ouch, I see how it is." Hannah laughs as she looks back at me. "You attract all the weirdos sis."
"It's a curse, believe me." I laugh.
"I am sure you will want to gather your things so you may leave, please enjoy one last night in the palace and we shall see you off in the morning." The pharaoh smiles as he left the throne room with Ka following behind him.
"What about us now? The whole you having my child situation..." Aro asked as he looked at both Hannah and I skeptical.
"We need to talk to Fred." Hannah tells me and I nod in agreement with her.
