Benjamin was walking through the woods at night as it rains. He only had his backpack filled with his belongs and some clothes. He was beaten earlier that day by his uncle and his wrists were still bleeding with his back stinging from the weight on his marks that some were bleeding. He closed his eyes and sat down in a puddle freezing. Alec was currently in wolf form as he was checking for rouges. He saw Benjamin and sniffed. His wolf Dan went nuts. 'MATE! MARK MATE NOW!' was all he heard. Alec ignores him and steps closer to the sweet smelling boy and sniffed. Benjamin didn't really care at this point what was going on. He was so dazed and tired he practically fell asleep sitting up. Alec walked closer and Dan whined. 'Mate is hurt. Sad.' was all Alec could hear. He laid next to Benjamin and huffed a bit. Benjamin breathes slowly as he shivers from the cold. He slowly laid down fully his mind blanking out. Alec sits up quickly and nudges him. He shifted and picked him up. Alec linked with his friend Sam who was his beta. 'Sam get the doctor. A human is hurt and clearly is cold.' Alec sprinted to the pack's house. Sam nods and runs to get the doctor quickly. Ben was leaning into Alec to get warmer. He breathes out a shaking breath as his teeth chatter. Alec looks at him. "Don't worry. You'll be ok."

Alec runs into the house ignoring his mom yelling at him to be careful. He runs to the second floor and gets to the doctor's room. Sam was in there talking to the doctors about what happened. He turned and saw Alec. "I caught him up on the mate". "I never said anything about him being my mate." Alec denies it not wanting his mom to lose it. "Alec you know we all smell it right he's practically drenched in the smell". Sam says leaving the room to leave them with the doctor. Alec glares slightly but focuses on Benjamin. "He's freezing." Alec was holding him close making sure he got some warmth from Alec. Since his body was warmer than humans he knew he could help. "Set him on the bed we need to check for injuries after that you can take him to the guest room". The doctor named Charlie says to Alec. Alec looks at Benjamin. "He's staying with me. I'm not putting him down." Alec sits on the bed and continues to hold him. Charlie nodded slowly getting what he needs. "Alright, Alec if you say so".

He comes over and examined him finding all sorts of cuts, scars, and bruises around his body. "What happened to this boy it looks like half of his body is black and blue." "I found him in a puddle. Dan almost lost it when I smelt him." Alec nuzzles Benjamin's hair softly. "I can see why his smell is very strong". He says starting to bandage him up. "Can you make it so I can see his back?" Charlie asked him. Alec moves Benjamin a bit and tries not to make him wake up. He pulls his shirt up "oh my god was he whipped? The skin is broken and irritated". He says trying to hold the shirt up to show Alec. Alec growls and Dan was ready to kill. 'Someone hurt mate.' Dan was pacing. "Ill find the sick fucking bastards who did this." Charlie grabs Bens bag. "Try and find a different smell from this". Charlie says chucking it to Dan. He then went back to bandaging up his back. Alec sniffs it. He smelt Benjamin but a bitter smell was there. "It smells bitter.". 'Maybe something else is in there something stronger'. He unzips it and looks inside. Alec throws clothes out and pulls out an old teddy bear and raises an eyebrow. 'What's this?'.
