The Alpha

Benjamin had received a break from his Uncle as he had gotten tired from beating him. He looked at the clock on the wall and had saw that it was 8:17 pm. His body ached from head to toe, it felt unbearable. A tear rolls down his cheek as his eyes watered up again. His cheeks were already stained with tears from his hours of sobbing. His Uncle soon came back into the room. "Now where were we?" He says grabbing Benjamin and makes him stand up. Tying his hands behind his back and ties his legs together. When it was nice and tight he grabs the boy's collar and punches him across the face. He continues to punch him. Ben's lip starting to bleed. He was punched one last time so hard that he fell over, coughing up some blood. Ben didn't even realize he was crying again. His Uncle puts his foot on his head to keep him down.

Suddenly people were screaming outside. His Uncle looked at the door confused, as the door suddenly was pounded against. The door then gets knocked down and a giant wolf was growling at Ben's Uncle. Ben looks and sees the wolf and whispers "Alec". His vision getting blurry, feeling like he was about to pass out from the pain. Dan walks up to his Uncle growling showing his sharp teeth. His uncle takes his foot off of Ben and backed up. "N-no get get back! B-bad wolfie" his uncle says scared. "Jared! J-Jared!" He called putting to his son who was in the other room, playing video games. But Dan continued to snarl and make Ben's uncle get backed up into a corner. 'You make mate feel pain' Dan snarls at him. Ben watched Alec and tries to stop him but went unconscious. Dan then pounces on him clawing at him and biting him. Drawing blood from his bite and claws. Ben's Uncle screaming in pain as he gets torn to shreds. Jared came out hearing his dad scream bloody murder and his eyes widened seeing the wolf biting and scratching his dad. He grabs a lamp and hits Dan's back. Immediately turning to Jared his eyes showing his rage. Jared backs up and started to hold the lamp up to defend himself. Dan snarling at him and growls, then he pounced. Biting down on the lamp's body as Jared uses it to try and move Dan away. Dan rips it away and starts to scratch and bite his arms and legs. But soon stops when Benjamin was coming too and was whimpering in pain. Jared took the opportunity to run away. Alec changes back into his human form and goes over to Benjamin. He pulls Benjamin up so his head was laying in his lap. "Ben, Luna, Im here, don't worry" he says quietly as Ben looks up at him. "I'm so sorry my love, I should've been smarter. I won't let anyone new around you". He says tearing up seeing out badly Ben had been treated by his Uncle. Benjamin tears up and nuzzles against him. "It's so painful Alec" he says as he cries. Alec wipes his tears away his hands, that was stained with blood. His mouth also had stains of blood from Ben's Uncle and cousin. "I'll take you home, so you can rest." He says hugging him gently. "A-Alec wh-where's my uncle?" He asked looking up at him and looking around the room until he saw his Uncle not moving. "D-don't worry about him...he won't hurt you anymore". Ben didn't know what to think on one hand his 'guardian' was most likely dead by his mate. But on the other hand his Uncle was ruthless and evil towards him and he didn't have that much sympathy towards him anymore.

"Alec can we go please. I don't want to stay here anymore". Ben says looking up at him. Alec nods he goes into the bedroom and grabs some of Jared's clothes, putting them on. He also noticed the blood on his hands and washed it off along with his mouth in the bathroom. He then picks him up bridal style, but Ben quickly panicked. "Where's my bear? I brought it with me"! Alec set Ben down on the couch and quickly looks around for Ben's things. He doesn't see it anywhere or any of the bags that Ben had brought with him. Alec huffs angrily grabbing one of Jared's jacket realizing that Ben would different clothes too. Mostly to hide Ben's scent "I didn't find it but you need to change into these quickly." Ben nodded pouting as he changed his clothes with the help of Alec. Everytime he moved Ben felt pain.  Alec then picks him up. "Come on we need to go now they'll be coming for you and me. I'll send some to come over here to try and find it." Alec says before going through the hotel going out the building. He tries to get far away from hotel as possible. Alec goes to a phone booth and sets Benjamin down. "Excuse me sir, can I have some coins for the phone"? Alec asks the old man that was passing by. The man nods and fished in his pockets until he found a handful of quarters and he gives them to Alec. "Thank you sir." Alec says as the man walks away, he then calls his mom.

Alec's mom picks up and went away from the people cleaning up as the party ended. As the packs noticed that the wedding wouldn't continue anytime soon. "Alec where the hell are you? Everyone has left the party, Sam and the betas aren't back yet, and Rebecca and Amos left with the Windpaw Pack. They are going to be coming after you two, they'll know you will come back home." His mom said quietly into her phone so no one could hear. "I know mom.....I'm going to hide out somewhere so Ben can at least rest before going back home. I can't just be run out from my territory." Alec says quietly as he looks over at Ben concerned. As Ben leans against the phone booth. "Okay well be careful, I'm going to send some to message Sam about you going away. Make sure Benjamin is okay". Alec nodded and smiled slightly. "Okay bye mom stay safe as well oh and send someone to that resort, look for Ben's things especially for his bear". He says to her. "Alright I will get on it bye" Alec's mom then hangs up. "Come on Ben lets go." Alec says as he picks up Ben again but this time he did a piggyback. Ben holds onto him as Alec took him to bus stop. He sets Ben down and goes onto the bus, going to the back. As they both sit down, Ben leans into him making Alec wrap his arm around him protectively.

When the two get to the town next to Legton they got off. Alec carries Ben and goes to a motel, getting a room for them. Ben holds onto Alec as they got to the room and enters. Alec smiled weakly looking down at Ben. "Let's get you to bed" he says gently. Ben nods and Alec sets him down on the bed gently, before going to the door locking it and closing the curtains. He goes to the bed and sits next to Ben pulling the covers over him. Then he pets Ben's head waiting patiently for Ben to fall asleep. Benjamin closed his eyes and slowly fell asleep feeling slightly relaxed by Alec's petting. When Alec was sure that Benjamin was asleep he went to the bathroom, showering for himself felling a little bad for actually killing a human. But then Dan piped up with anger about what Ben's uncle did to his mate. Alec sighed and pushed Dan away, getting out of the shower and puts on the clothes he had on before. He looked around the bathroom and saw that their was no first aid kit. 'I need to treat his wounds.' Alec thought you himself as he looks over at Ben. 'If he was a wolf his wounds would heal faster without first aid....no I'll wait for him, I won't without him telling me too'. He thought to himself as he sits down next to him. 'Maybe the front test has one? I don't want to leave him for too long'.

"Ah fuck it" Alec says as he gets up and goes out the room. Making sure it was locked before going to the front desk. "Excuse me ma'am, uh do you have a first aid kit I can borrow?" "Yes, let me go check where it is". The woman goes to the back to her office. She comes back a few minutes later and gives him the first aid kit. "Here you go sir". "Thank you, appreciate it", Alec says smiling politely. He then goes back to the room and locked the door. Seeing Ben was still asleep but sleeping on his side. He goes and sits next to him placing the first aid kit on the night stand. Alec starts to treat what ever wounds Ben had. When he was done he cleaned up everything, but Ben was waking up. "Hmm Alec?" He mumbled tiredly. "Yes, Luna? Are you okay? Do you hurt?" Alec was worried that he had hurt him during his first aid. He nods "I hurt, but what are you doing?" He asked him pouting. "I was treating your wounds, I just finished". Alec says petting his hair. "Can you sleep with me then". "Yeah, of course my love", he says smiling softly. Alec goes to the other side of the bed and gets under the covers. Ben turns over and cuddles up to him, closing his eyes. Alec wraps his arms around him to keep him safe and warm. Then the two fell asleep holding each other close.
