It's been two days after Christmas and Benjamin didn't want to come out of the bedroom at all. He just couldn't face Alec after rejecting the proposal. Since Alec had no permission from Ben to be in the bedroom with him Sam or his mom could enter to get things, or to give Ben food. Alec had to sleep on the couch at night, thinking about how to fix things with Ben. Spies came to Alec telling him that Ben's Uncle and cousin were looking for him getting to close to the house for comfort. Heading upstairs he knocks on the door "Ben I have to leave for the day please stay in the house till I'm back". He says through the door and Ben just knocks as an okay. Alec sighs and goes out with the spies.

As the day went on Ben was feeling like he was losing his mind. So he packs up his backpack and was going to sneak out of the house. Before he could do so Rebecca caught him. "Ah- Rebecca I'm? Uh, what are you doing here?". Ben asked quietly looking over at her as his heart beats faster from his sudden rush of panic. "I could ask you the same thing, so what are you doing?". She asked raising an eyebrow slightly but looked like she didn't care too much. "Uh, I'm Uh....I'm gonna go outside". "And? Then what you have a backpack and you're just going outside"? She asked leaning against the wall and Ben sighed. "I just need to leave for a few days I can't stay here or I think I might snap". Rebecca nodded trying to look like she understood. "Ah, I see, Well you better get going then oh and try to cover up your smell if you don't want Alec or the others to find you". Rebecca says to him and she hands him a bottle of perfume. "It's strong enough, and don't worry I won't tell". She says winking at him smiling before leaving. "Oh uh thank you, Rebecca". He says taking the perfume and feeling kinda weird about the interactions. Benjamin sneaks out the house and as he gets far enough from the house he sprays the perfume all over him.

Ben then goes to the closest bus stop and waits for it. When it showed up he got on and rides it until they got to the town. He steps out of the bus and goes to a motel that was cheap but also very sketchy. But to Ben, he has used those types of places so he wasn't that scared or worried.

At night Alec came back with two of the spies. He was stressed about the situation and instantly ran up the stairs to check on Ben. Alec knocks on the door "Ben? Benjamin?" He looks down and notices what was supposed to be his dinner outside the door. "Mom!? Mom, can you come here please?" Alec yells for her and his mom comes to him. "Yes?" "Mom, when did you send this up?" Alec asked picking up the dinner plate. "About 5 o'clock," she says looking concerned now. Alec hands her the plate and starts to knock loudly. He tries to open the door and, the first time in forever it felt like the door was open to him. Storming into the room he looked around for his mate. "Luna?! Luna?! Where are you!?" He yells going around the room and checking every place he was. Alec then noticed that some of his things were missing like his bear. "Did anyone come into this room today?" He asked his mom now furious and panicked. "No, I don't think so not that I know of". His mom says now even more worried and scared about what happened to Ben. Alec forgets about his mom and goes on a scent hunt for Benjamin's trail. He follows it to the back door and he follows it to the area where Ben sprayed himself with the perfume.

The two smells were intertwining and it was hard to tell if it was two people or not. Now he was getting more worried, heartbroken, and furious, because if it was that someone kidnapped his mate. He basically failed to protect him and keeping him safe. But he continues to follow the two mixed scents until he got to the bus stop. That's when the scent stopped, so he minds links with his guards and spies to come with him to find his mate.
