Continued...Christmas Day
Ben went into the bedroom and finds Alec on his phone just playing a game. He takes a deep breath before going over and gets on the bed sitting next to him. Alec smiles and looks over at him "how was your shower Luna?" He asks him. "It was fine....you never really call me Ben anymore, why is that?" Ben asked looking over at him. Alec looks over at him and turns off his phone to give him his full attention. "Well, you are my mate, my love, my....everything, plus doesn't it sound like a cute nickname for you?" He asks looking over at him tilting his head. "Well I mean everything sometimes calls me Luna too, I kinda miss you saying my real name". Ben tells him and Alec nods his head in response. "If you want I'll call you Benjamin more okay?" "Okay, Thank you, Alec," he says laying his head in Alec's shoulder. They stay cuddling until 10 o'clock arrives. The footsteps immediately were heard as the pack members ran down to the living room to the Christmas tree. Alec grabs Ben's hand and leads him out downstairs getting nervous again when it was going to be his turn to give his present to Ben.

As everyone settles down Alec and Ben stood in front of the tree. "Okay first off we will explain the order because it's Lun-B-Benjamin's first time having Christmas with us. So Lu....Ben the kids open their's first, then Elders, Betas, Gammas, Omegas, Then Alpha, But for this time I want to give your present from me last Okay?" Ben nods in response now knowing what it is and why he wanted to do it last. "Okay Alec," He says and Alec smiles leading him to the couch so they could both sit. Everyone goes through their presents, and Ben was so happy when they had good reactions to the presents Ben gave them. Alec smiles proudly at his mate as it slowly gets to Alec's turn.

Alec goes through the pack members gifts and of course his mom's before getting to Ben. He watches as his mate gets up and grabs a little box and gives it to him. Alec smiles when he opens it up to find a wallet with a little note. "I noticed your wallet was getting a little worn out so I got you a new one". He says to him, and Alec couldn't be more static that it was the first gift Ben gave him. "I love it thank you so much" he says smiling at him. "Your welcome Alec". "Now you open your presents," Alec tells him smiling. "Ben only has your present, he didn't want anyone to buy him anything". Alec's mom says to him explaining. "What? Babe, why didn't you want presents? You deserve something more for Christmas". He says to him hugging him by the waist. "I didn't want people buying stuff for me, we still don't need each other well for stuff like presents". He says to him and shrugs. "Fine then I guess I'll just do my gift come on." He says getting him to stand up and stand in front of the tree. Ben was starting to get anxious knowing that it was happening. As Alec slowly kneels down he pulls out a box for a ring. "Benjamin Franklin Pierce you are my mate, I love you so much, please be mine and marry me". He says to him opening the box to show of the ring. Everyone in the room was smiling waiting for Ben's response, but Ben wasn't smiling. He stared at the ring frowning, swallowing hard. Looking around at the room of people then down at Alec, everyone's reaction went to worry seeing Ben like that. "I-I'm sorry A-Alec but I can't it's too quick for me, I'm not like you to know right away because we're mates." He croaks out tearing up. Then he runs quickly up the stairs to the bedroom locking the door to be alone. Everyone was shocked and sad, especially Alec. He didn't think he would get that type of response from him, he runs after him and knocks on the door after trying to open it. "Babe, can you open the door so we can talk?" He asks as he heard his mate cry on the other side of the door. "No, I don't want to talk I want to be alone......I need to be alone right now". He says through his sobs, Alec sighs and nods. "Okay, I'll leave you be....I'll get Sam to bring you lunch". Alec says so he wasn't alarmed if someone came to the door. "Alright...."
