A few weeks go by since Ben was brought back home and Alec kept his promise. He let go and only went into protective mode when he thought that there may be a threat to his mate. Sam and Charlie had figured out what the perfume was made of and how it was designed to get rid of Ben's scent and after an amount of time would wear off. With this information, Alec knew it was intentional. So he had a spy on her, now 24/7 so he can know that he does have a reason to kick her out of the pack. Sam comes to the office where Alec was with a letter. "Alec I have a letter here for you it's from the Alpha leader of the Windpaw Pack." He says setting it down on his desk, Alec takes it confused. "What does he want?" He says annoyed and opens up the letter.
Dear Alec Jones
I have recently gotten news of your mate first I would like to say congratulations. Secondly, I would like to say I have also found out that they are human and that you haven't changed them. As well as that you haven't taken them as your own. This is going to cause many problems for other packs in the area as news is spreading more quickly. As an Alpha myself I could do this if you aren't going to, as well as other Alphas. But lucky for you, I wouldn't dare do that to someone else's mate. You are probably wondering what all this means and why I'm talking about this. Well, we need this news about the human Omega to quiet down and I would like to help. I will come over to your territory to work with you on what we can do to for this situation, as well to keep your Mate safe from other Alphas.

Alec groans as he reads "just great, just what I need right now". "What? What is it?" Sam asked him as he looks at the letter. "Amos is coming, he says the news is getting around about Benjamin. Since we haven't gotten married, he hasn't gotten changed, and since I haven't marked him as mine he's a target for other alphas who would want to in the state." Alec explains to him and Sam frowns hearing. "Oh....uh maybe, the two of you need to talk about it". "Sam I can't make him feel like he needs to marry, change, or let me make him mine. Ben is scared of relationships like this, he almost had a panic attack of the idea of him being in a suit for a wedding. In no way am I doing any of that unless he is 100% Sure with his own mind and not by the fear or guilt by what I say. Trust me when I say this it's best if I just wait and not try to push him." Alec says resting his head on his hand as he tries to think. "Well, are you going to at least tell him about Amos?" Sam asked him and Alec responds with a nod. "Alright well, lunch is going to be ready soon".
"Yeah yeah," he says to him as Sam leaves. When Alec finally comes out to the kitchen Benjamin was eating some soup. Alec comes over and wraps his arms around his waist. "Hello Luna" "Hey Alec" Ben replies eating some more of his soup. "What are you eating today?" He asked him looking over his shoulder. "Creamy chicken noodle soup," Ben said now since he swallowed what he ate he sounded congested. "Aw, are you not feeling well?"
