"You got Kelly's medicine?" Zion asked buckling his seatbelt. I nodded my head and turnt around making sure was buckled up. "Yea." I buckled my seatbelt and laid back in my seat.

"I can't believe we agreed to this family breakfast shit..With both of our parents." I said. Zion chuckled. "It only seemed fair since my people consider y'all family.

We did combine them together since you had Kelly. One big happy family." "Yea but you won't be seeing my Dad in the picture, ever since he married that girl and she had his baby he's been M.I.A." I said.

Zion was silent. "I never understood that.. why would he do that to my Mama? She's been nothing but faithful to him." "Maybe he needed something new."

"Yea whatever, he never should've married her in the first place." I said. Zion nodded his head. "Couldn't agree more." He mumbled. I raised brow looking over at him.

"You okay?" I asked. He nodded his head. "Yea, I just saw my Mama yesterday and she's looking worse." He said. "Awe baby I'm sorry." I said. I grabbed his hand and kissed it.

"You sure you wanna go up here? If you can't handle it-" "Yea I'm good, imma have you there with me." "Damn right." We pulled up in front of Zion's parents house and killed the engine.

I took Kelly out his carseat and held his hand walking up to the front door. Zion rung the doorbell and a couple seconds later Ivory opened the door.

"Y'all made it!" She yelled. She picked Kelly up and gave Zion and I a hug. "TeTe missed you!" She yelled. Zion and I shook our heads and closed the door. "Y'all never visit me anymore." Ivory said.

"Well remind us to drop him off any time." Zion mumbled. "He's a handful." I said. "He can't be that bad." She said. "Yea okay. Where's Mama?" Zion asked.

"In the kitchen." Ivory said taking a seat on the couch. Zion kissed my forehead then walked off to the kitchen. "So how y'all doing? You never call me." Ivory said. I sat beside her.

"This studio time and rehearsals are taking up my time." I said. Ivory nodded. "Thats okay, at least your making your own money right?"

"Exactly, but your brother hates it. He doesn't understand." "He just wants you to himself." I nodded. "Tell me about it." I mumbled. "Y'all talking about having anymore kids?" She asked.

I shook my head. "No I think we're fine with just Kelly for right now." I said. Ivory laughed. "I'm still waiting on that niece your about to give me."

"Yea thats probably not gonna happen." We both laughed. The front door opened and Drew stepped in alongside his new girlfriend Lauren. "Yoo!" Drew yelled.

Kelly hopped off Ivory's lap and ran over to Drew. "Every time you come around Kelly act all funny." Ivory said.

Drew laughed and picked his bad ass nephew up. The last time Kelly spent the night at Drew's house he came back home terrible. Never again. "You mad?" Drew asked. Ivory flipped him off making him laugh.

Drew did the same thing then before I knew it Kelly was flipping off everyone in the room. "No, Kelly." I said said standing up taking him out Drew's arms.

"Its not my fault." Drew said. "Yes it is. He copies everything he sees." "Ivory flipped me off first!" "Yea but he saw you first." "Bullshit." I frowned and looked at Kelly. "Haha, who you got that from?" Drew asked.

"Baby don't say that word." I said. "Your a bad example." I told Drew. "Not my fault." He said. I shook my head and went into the kitchen. I saw Zion talking to his parents at the table. I put Kelly down and ran to his grandma.

"Hey Victoria, Richard." "Hey Ana." They both said. I sat beside Zion. "Your son just said his first curse word today." I said. Zion frowned. "What he say?" He asked. "Bs." I said not wanting to curse in front of his parents.

"No he didn't. Did you Kelly baby?" Victoria asked him. Kelly nodded making us laugh. "How's chemotherapy Mama?" Zion asked. She sighed.

"Its fine, but ion wanna think about that I just want my family around happy." She told him. I could see how hard all this was on him, he is the middle child. "Yea okay Ma." He said.

He stood up and walked upstairs. Victoria frowned. "He'll be okay." I told her. She smiled and nodded a little. "I hope your right." She said.

I knocked on the door then turnt the knob stepping inside the bathroom. Zion was leaning on the sink covering his face. I closed the door then rubbed his back. "Hey." He looked up at me and smiled.

"Hey."

He picked me up and wrapped his arms around me laying on my chest. I started playing with his hair letting silence fill the huge bathroom. "You wanna talk about it?" I asked. "Not right now, its too hard." He said.

I nodded slowly. "I can't lose my Mama, I just can't." He whispered. "You won't, she's strong." "Yea she's strong,  but cancer is a bitch. I lost my auntie from the same thing."

"It runs in the family?" He shook his head. "My auntie started smoking at 12..Been smoking all her life." "You don't know how your Mom got it?" "Nah." I was silent. "She's strong she'll make it."

"I hope your right."
