"I take it you told Zion?" Kori asked. I sighed and shook my head as she did my hair. "Hellllll no, and Khalil didn't either. So I'm not saying anything." Amara sighed. "Haven't I taught you anything? He's gonna find out."

"Nigga hush." I said. Kori laughed and stepped away from me. "Okay all done boo." She said. I stood up and checked myself in the mirror. "Owe I'm fine." I said. Kori laughed. "Your the only white girl I know that can do hair." I said.

"Thanks girl." She said. Amara just shook her head. "I get you dont wanna lose him but you'll lose him completely if you keep this a secret." She said.

I sighed. "Can I have a drama free day? Please? Please?" I asked. She shook her head and went back to her magazine. "And since we have a weeks break I'm taking my family on a vacation." I said.

They both looked up at me. "Us?" I laughed. "No." They smacked their lips and looked away from me. "Just me, my boyfriend and son." I said. "Yea bitch you'on gotta rub it in." Kori said.

I smiled. "And you'on gotta be jealous." "Yea whatever." I grabbed my bag. "I gotta pick up Kelly from my Moms. I'll see you bitches later." "Bye." I hugged Mara and muffed Kori's head before walking out Kori's house.

I unlocked my doors to my car and made my way to my mother's house about ten minutes later. I killed my engine and stepped out my car walking on the front porch. I knocked twice and the door opened.

"Hey Baby." Mama said. I smiled and stepped inside. "Kelly's upstairs with Adam." She said. I nodded my head and sat my purse on the coffee table before walking upstairs to Adam's room.

I walked inside and saw Kelly playing the Xbox while Adam was on the phone. When he saw me he smiled. "Who you on the phone with?" I asked. "Don't worry about it." He said.

"Mhm, whatever. Kelly give y'all a hard time?" I asked picking his shoes up from the floor. "Always." Adam said. I laughed.

"Come on baby we're leaving tomorrow." I said. Kelly sighed. "Noo."

"I can buy you a game. Now let's go." I said. He sat the controller down and folded his arms across his chest pouting.

"Boy I don't care, get yo bad ass up." I said. I sat his shoes down and he took his precious time slipping them on.

I got on my knees and tied both feet. "Keep this up and you won't have a birthday." I told him. His eyed widened. "Noooo." "Stop being a bad ass." I said knowing he can't help it.

"Okay okay Mommy." He said. He sighed a little. "I sowwy." He said. I smiled and looked up at him. "Are you now?" I asked. He nodded quickly. "Mhm." I picked him up and kissed his cheek.

"You ready to go now?" He nodded and smiled warming my heart. "Tell Uncle Adam bye." I said. "Bye." he said waving at his uncle. "Bye Lil homie." Adam said. I smiled and walked out his room.

I made my way downstairs and saw Mama at the island with a calculator and some mail. "Mama what's this?" I asked. She shook her head and tried to pack them away when I grabbed one. "Anastasia give me my mail." She said.

I ignored her and read what it said. "How do you owe this much money?" I asked her. She snatched the mail out my hands and sighed. "Don't worry about it-" "Mama if you need money-"
