"Kelly eat everything." I said. He pouted and folded his arms across his chest. "But I not hungry." I shook my head. "Doesn't matter, eat or you don't play today." I said.

"Listen to yo Mama boy." Zion said making my plate. Kelly didn't say a word, just sat there. I nodded my head. "So that's how you wanna do it?" I asked. He was silent.

"You'll stay in that chair all day if you don't eat that food." I said. He looked up at me frowning. "Eat. Now." I said. He picked his fork up slowly picking his eggs up off the plate.

I looked up at Zion who was laughing. "It ain't funny, I wish he knew it's for his health." I said walking around the table and taking a seat at the island.

Zion sat my plate in front of me and kissed my lips. "He'll understand when he's older." "Yea I hope so..God he's gonna be a nightmare when he gets older." Zion chuckled.

We heard the doorbell and frowned. "You expecting anyone?" Zion asked. I shook my head and stood up walking towards the door. I looked out the peep hole and saw some lady carrying a car seat in her hands.

"Who is it?" Zion asked. "Some lady..I don't know." I said opening the door. She had glasses and looked like she worked at a hospital.

I looked down at what she was carrying and frowned when I realized it was baby." "Hi I'm here for Zion Davis." She said. I kept my eyes on the small baby. "Uh, y-yea." I said. I turnt around and Zion was right behind me.

"I'm Zion." He said. "Can I come in?" She asked. We both nodded and she stepped inside. I closed the door behind her and locked it. "Kelly go upstairs." I said.

He didn't say a word just quickly walked up the stairs. Zion and I took a seat beside eachother while she sat the sleeping baby infront of us.

She smiled at us and pulled a folder out. "I'm Michelle Lucas here on behalf of Ariona Steele." She told us. I thought as much..I looked down at the baby and smiled a little. She was really beautiful.

"So where is she?" Zion asked. She sighed. "That's exactly what I came here for." She said. She pulled a sheet of paper and handed it to Zion.

"She signed over her parental rights as a mother." We both frowned. "I thought only men can do that." I said. She shook her head. "Naturally no."

"So she basically abandoned her." Zion said. She nodded her head. "Yes." Zion scoffed. "Wow." I was silent taking all of this in. "You are the father correct?" She asked.

Zion nodded. "Yea." "If you don't wanna keep you can file for adoption." She said. Zion looked up at me. "Can I talk to you for a second?" He asked. I nodded.

"Sure." We both stood up and he grabbed my hand talking me half way up the stairs. He sighed and I leaned against the wall. "What's up?" I asked.

He took a deep breath. "I wanted to talk to you first before made any decision." He told me. I nodded. "Okay." "I understand if you wanna leave-"

"Why would I leave?" I asked. He was silent. "Because of the baby." I frowned. "I'm not going anywhere." I said. He smiled a little.

"You have a daughter..And her Mother abandoned her. I wouldn't leave you." His smile widened. "Really?" I nodded.

"Of course..I love you, but not just for you though for the baby. I don't want her growing up without a mother." "So you'll be her mother?" He asked. I bit down on my bottom lip. "Yea."

I said without hesitation.  He made a step closer to me. "Do you have any idea how much I love you?" I smiled. "I don't know why don't you tell me?" I asked. A wide smile grew on his face. "I can show you."

I playfully rolled my eyes. "Let's go." I grabbed his hands and walked down the steps and saw Ms. Lucas with the baby in her hands. "She's woke?" I asked.

She nodded. "Would you like to hold her?" I nodded. "I would love to." I said. I sat down and took the baby out her arms.

She looked just like Kelly when he was born, big brown eyes but Kelly didnt have curly hair when he was born. "I-well we thought about it and we're keeping her." Zion said. Ms. Lucas smiled.

"You have no idea how happy I am to hear that." She said. We laughed. She pulled some papers out. "Just sign these, and the birth certificate." She said. Zion nodded and started reading."

"So did she name her?" I asked. Ms. Lucas shook her head. "No." I nodded looking back down at her. "She doesn't have any rights right?Like..She can't come visit or anything?" Zion asked.

"I mean she can but its up to you." Ms. Lucas said. Zion and I looked at each other. "What if she comes one day out of the blue asking for her?"

"You call the police and you could also file a restraining order." We both nodded. Zion signed the birth certificate. "Do you-" I nodded taking the pin out his hand.

I signed my name as the mother. "So what are we naming her?" Zion asked. I bit down on my bottom lip. "Well..I was thinking Victoria." I said. I looked up at him smiling.

"Yea." I nodded and wrote her full name down. I looked at her birthday and nodded when I saw she was born just two days ago. "Is that all?" I asked.

I handed her everything including the pen. "That's all." She said smiling. "Uh, there's diapers here in the bag along with other things you may need." I nodded my head rocking her back and forth.

"Nice meeting you. Y'all make a beautiful family." I smiled and she walked out the door. "Baby hand me that bag." I said. Zion stood up and handed me the bag.

"And call Kelly down here." I said ordering him around. He groaned walking towards the stairs. "Kelly!" He yelled. I looked down at Victoria and smiled when u saw she was half sleep.

Her eyes were low and she was slowly drifting off. I saw Kelly come from around the couch. He stood there in front of me looking down at his baby sister. "This Victoria, she's your sister." I said.

He narrowed his eyes and poked her cheek softly. "Baby." I nodded. "Yea she's a baby." He smiled. "You take care of her alright? No matter what." Zion said. Kelly nodded his head.

After everything, atleast some good came out of it.
