Chapter 13: Change Is A Good Thing

~The Next Day~

I put on a pair of Soda's jeans since he's been letting me wear his clothes for a while, one of his small shirts that he no longer fits but I do.

I put on my shoes just putting my hair in a messy bun. I don't care anymore at this point, I get it, my hair style is different from this time but it's comfy so I'm keeping it.

I walk out to try and go find Jacob. He's always around here, if he's not then he's at Dairy Queen. I didn't see him around here so I check Dairy Queen. Yep he's here, but he's with other Socs... great.

I walk in and the Socs see me. I don't bother though, honestly I'm just getting some ice cream since I'm already here.

I get I/C/F (Ice Cream Flavour), and walk out.

I'm enjoying my ice cream not bothering anyone else when my ice cream is knocked out of my hand onto the ground. "Awww, is she gonna cry now?" The Soc says.

I get up and punch the guy in the face. He falls down and holds his face then smiles. He then quickly punches me. He gets on top of me and continues to punch me over and over. He's much stronger than Sandy, I can't get him off me.

Then the Soc that was once on me gets punched away. I look up, Jacob. There's so much fear in his face, he's pretty much pale.

"I'm sorry Bob, I didn't know what got over me, you were beating her up and I just-" Jacob backs up. "I should've known you would've done this, you trust this dumb Grease more than you trust us" Bob punches Jacob.

Then Bob begins to toss Jacobs around. Anger boils inside of me, that's it. "Get off him!" I yell.

I grab Bob by the hair and punch him in the face over and over again. I throw him onto the ground, still having his hair, I step on his hands and put all my weight on them while still punching him.

When I'm done he gets up and runs away like the pussy he is. "Hey, thanks Greaser- Y/N, I mean, thanks Y/N" Jacob says. His eyes begin to tear up. I hug him. "It's fine Jacob, your fine" I say. "No I'm not, I hate being a Soc! I'm expected to be rich and cute or hot, but I'm not" Jacob says. "Your plenty of cute Jacob, any girl would date you" I say. He smiles.

"Why don't you become a Greaser? I mean hey! Change is a good thing!" I say. "Y/N, I can't just change into a greaser" he says. "Maybe not, but I have friends that can help!" I say.

I pull his hand all the way back to 'the hood'. It's Sunday, Soda should be at the DX so let's stop there first.

We get to the DX and yep, Soda is here. "Hey Soda!" I say. "Hm? Oh hey Y/N, hey Jake" Soda says. "Jake?" Jacob says. "Yea, that's your nick name, Jake" Soda says. Jacob smiles.

"So Soda, Jake here doesn't like being a Soc, I mean who would right? But I need help changing him, not his personality just, his Soc him" I say. "Well, I can help with how you dress, how to act like a Grease, try asking Dal about that one" Soda says. "Oh ok! Well teach him how to dress!" I say. "Follow me" he says.

Jake follows Soda into the DX. A few minutes later and Jake walks out wearing new clothes. He's wearing a tank top and some jeans. His hair is now slicked back with oil. Yea, he fits a greaser.

"How's he looking?" Soda asks. "Like someone that's ready to fight" I say. "Good, that's what I was aiming for" Soda says. Me and Jake walk away. "That's it right? I'm a greaser?" Jake says. "No,no,no,no,no" I say. "You still need to meet someone... don't piss him off either" I say.

I walk around hoping to find Dally. Of course, I find him. "Hey Dal" I say. "Hey Doll" he says. "So uhh, I need help, with Jake" I say. "Yea, what about him?" He asks. "He needs help learning how to, act, or fight, like a greaser" I say. "That'll take some time, he doesn't have a lot of meat on his bones but I'll do what I can" he says.

"Ok! I'll come back in like a hour or so" I say. "Sure thing Doll" he says. "Wait! Your just gonna leave me with him?! Y/N!" I hear Dally pull him away.

Change is a good thing, most times

Ok... I understand that this one was very disappointing. Especially for that Loyal reader, (you know who you are), sorry. It also took so long since school and everything! But when school ends trust me! I'll have a lot more time to write or type this out! I really hope people are still enjoying this

I'm also sorry that this chapter was just around Jacob but I had to, next chapter will include more Dal and Soda
