what is this? two prompts in a week? whaaaaat? since im feeling like death due to jetlag (thanks, japan, for being fourteen hours ahead) heres an airplane/vacation/whatever themed prompt.
Also!!! My good friend from Japan, @-mayu-mayu- , has also started a prompt book! go check it out, she's a bit better at this than I am :P

this is a long ass prompt that was supposed to be short but ended up becoming a short story.
Person A is on vacation to a place where people speak a different language. They have a very small understanding of the language, and can only manage a few words or so very slowly.
so, they're out souvenir shopping.
and see Person B as a cashier. Forgetting that they're in a different country, Person A tries to be smooth and asks for their number. (For the sake of the prompt, Person B is bilingual/trilingual/whatever-lingual)
Think that Person B pretends to not know what they're saying, and asks what they mean in another language. Then enjoys as Person A flares in embarrassment as they quickly ask google translate and try to pronounce the words.
After finally 'understanding' and getting each others number, Person B just goes, in perfect english, (or whatever language Person A speaks) "yeah, I knew what you said at first. But I just wanted to see you suffer."
