True Colors pt.2

I can remember it like it was yesterday
I remember every single detail of the night you showed your true colors.....
You said you loved me and that's why you want to have sex
I said I love you back but I was not ready to give you a gift that could not be returned
But you insisted and when I refused you grabbed me with such force that I lost my breath
You threw me in the bed of your best friends truck and in that moment I went numb with nothing but the sounds of laughter coming from the carnival to ease my racing heart
Then at that exact moment you came to put me in the back seat God sent an angle to rescue me from what would of been destined to happen
As the first tear ran down my cheek the angle appeared and made you think twice then as we walked back with the angle close behind your grip on my arm became tighter and then you whispered "If you tell anyone I swear I will find you and hurt you!" While I tremble in fear you told me to act normal and so I faked a smile in front of your friends I acted as if you and I were the only two people in the world
That night as I laid in bed all I could think about was
Why me?
Why did my boyfriend;my first love ,try to rape me ?
Why did he degrade me after the encounter with the angle ?
Why did it take me almost being raped to see your True Colors when everyone around me already knew what you were made of..
