Something's wrong

Tessa:

To be honest it was really hard to keep my cancer a secret. There were some days where it hurt so much I just wanted to give up. I had started chemotherapy, and was vomiting, having muscle and nerve problems, and I was losing a lot of weight. I had also lost my appetite. I knew my hair would be falling out soon, so I had ordered a wig which looked exactly like my hair.

I had been really distant with everyone, and they were bound to notice something was wrong soon.

Chance:

Tessa had been really distant lately, and I was really worried about her.

"Tessa" I said as I knocked on her bedroom door.

She looked up in surprise.

"Yeah?" she asked.

I went to sit next to her on her bed.

"What's wrong? You've been really distant lately, and you seem sad." I worried.

"I'm fine" she smiled "I just had a little cold."

"Ok... well, do you want to do something later?" I asked.

"Sure i'd love to" Tessa replied.

"Ok, well we'll leave for lunch at around 11:30?" I planned.

"Sure" she said.

Hopefully during the lunch she would tell me why she's been upset lately.

Kade:

It sounds strange, but I'm legally allowed to go onto Tessa's bank account and see if she's spending her money wisely, and to make sure she's not running out or anything. I check her account about once a fortnight, and was looking at it today.

I checked it, and it said something strange. It said that she had spent $37 000 on something.

"Jake" I said hesitantly.

"Yeah?" he asked as he slid his chair over.

"Look at this" I said pointing to the screen "It says Tessa has spent $37 000 on something."

"Can't you see what it was spent on?" he asked.

"No... I usually can, but it's not allowing me to" I worried.

"I'm not sure. Maybe ask her about it?" Jake offered.

"Yeah I will. Have you noticed she's acting strange lately?" I said.

"Yeah she has hasn't she. She's not eating and she's lost a heap of weight" stammered Jake.

"I'm worried about her" I confessed. "She's been really distant."

"Yeah" he whispered "I hope she's ok."

Tessa:

I was out with Chance for lunch. It was fun, and he didn't bring me acting strange up. We were just eating sushi and talking like old times.

We were walking home, and I suddenly felt the urge to throw up. I held it in, but as soon as we got home, I raced in to the bathroom. I was throwing up, and crying because it hurt so much.

I hadn't noticed that Ivan was in the room when I ran in, and he saw me throw up.

"Tessa" he worried, placing his hand on my back and holding back my hair as I threw up.

I was still crying and shaking. Once I finished throwing up, he pulled me into a hug.

"It's alright" he whispered as he stroked my hair. "I'll run you a warm bath and you just relax ok?"

I nodded.

Ivan made the bath, and put lots of bubbles in it. He hugged me again before walking out of the bathroom and closing the door.

I sat in the bath and fell asleep.

Ivan:

I was so worried about Tessa. She had been acting differently and then she was throwing up. I walked downstairs, and Chance, Kade and Jake were having a conversation.

"Chance you should ask her what happened" Jake argued.

"I have. Believe me I have. She doesn't say anything though. She said she just had a cold" Chance said, looking sad.

"She just threw up" I interrupted.

"Is she ok now?" asked Kade.

"She's having a bath. I'm really worried about her." I sighed.

"We need Erika. What time is she getting home today?" Jake asked.

"Nine-ish" answered Kade.

Jake shook his head "Tell her to get here as soon as she can."
