Mark's POV
I throw myself to my bed, rethinking about what just happened today, it was so unlike me.
I just got home from the detention, it was awkward but I went through it really well, anyway, there's nothing I can not do, right?
Today's detention was kinda different, because there were only 2 people at the detention, 3 if we count an asshole in (read: Mr. Derek). And to my surprise, I was stuck in the detention with Alicia Storms.
We've never talked before, I mean yes, we've caught each other's eyes a million times but we've never really talked. And thanks to Mr. Derek's assignment, today, we finally talked to each other. And there's just something about her that makes my heart warm.
It sounds weird and gay from someone like me, that's why I've never told anyone about what I think about her or else, they would make fun of me. I'm pretty sure she has caught me staring at her for at least 10 times.
Miles talked a lot about her, I know that both of them had a lot of histories together. But I'm not gonna talk about it because that's none of my business, what I can say about their history is, a total mess.

Today at the detention, Mr. Derek told us to make a conversation about our favorite things, which is ridiculous for me because it's like an elementary school assignment. But yeh whatever, let's just do this quickly.
Well, it takes a while for us to do the assignment. The clock is ticking, and it is 20 minutes already since the detention starts but neither me nor Alicia start the conversation.
Weird, I thought she was talkative, because all I hear everytime I walk past her and her friends is talking and talking and talking plus screaming. They are always so loud that honestly, it kinda bothers me because their voices are just so loud and I can almost hear everything about what they're saying, but yeah let's just forget about it because I don't really care.
The time keeps going and still none of us have the courage to start the conversation. This is so unlike me, I usually always start the conversation first when it comes to girl, but it's probably because I'm trying to get them on my bed. Ok, focus.
"Hm you wanna start?" she finally says. And I reply "Yeah sure." "So...what do you like?" she asks, not looking at my eyes. Part of me was hoping that our eyes could meet at that moment, because I just like her blue eyes, I think she has a beautiful eyes.
"I don't know, how about you?" I say, looking at her eyes, and at that moment, God heard my pray, our eyes met. I've never wronged, her eyes are beautiful.
"Hm...I...I...I like cheese." I raised my eyebrow but then chuckle, 'she's cute' my heart says, my heart wasn't thinking straight, glad I'm that kind of person who uses his brain first, not heart.
"Out of all things in the world, you can only think cheese?" I ask, still looking at her. She doesn't look back at me. "Ye..Yeah" she stutters but that just makes her cuter. "Why cheese?" I ask again, I have no idea why do I want to know, it's not that I care about her. It's crazy how she has some kind of effects on me. Even tho I don't really know her.
"Because, who doesn't like cheese?Except Steph, she's weird, she doesn't like cheese but yeah I guess, it's just her." she starts rambling random things. I almost laugh at her cuteness.
