Alicia's POV
"You okay?" my mom asked me when I approached her to the kitchen. She was making a breakfast, considering that I haven't eaten a breakfast yet.
My friends have gone home like 30 minutes ago, it felt so quiet after Belle's gone.
I decided that I need to do something that can distract me from overthinking about what just happened. So here I am, in the kitchen. I need food.
I open the refrigerator and search for any snacks but I couldn't find anything. Sucks.
I sigh, "we really need to go to the grocery store." I say, not answering my mom's question.
I know that my mom knows about what happened between me and Belle, she must had heard it.
"You know, you can always talk to me if you want." she says, not looking at me because she was focusing on the sandwiches that she was making.
I smile at her, "duh mom, I know, that's why I'm talking to you right now." I know that's not what my mom meant, but I don't walk to talk about it right now, I just don't.
My mom sighs, "here's your breakfast." she hands me the sandwich which I quickly take because I'm so hungry.
"You're right, we really need to go to the grocery store." she says again, closing the refrigerator.
"We can go after I finished my breakfast." I say, taking another bite of my sandwich.
"Have you taken a shower yet?" my mom asks, which I answer with shaking my head.
"Then after you finished shower it is!" she continues.
"okay" I reply. "Where's dad?" I ask her, it's so weird, my dad is usually a morning person. I usually found him in the living room, reading a newspaper but today, I didn't find him anywhere.
"Oh, he went to visit his friend." my mom says, like it's not a big deal.
The thing is, it's Sunday. People usually use this day to stay at home with their families. But knowing my dad, he has a lot of things to do with his business, even in Sunday morning.
"Okay, I'm done with my breakfast. I'm going to take a shower now." I say when I've finished the sandwich. The sandwich tasted good but I'm still not full yet.
•••
I sit myself in the bed and was about to take my laptop when I heard a beeping sound, telling me that I have a new message. I take my phone and check who is it from.
Thunders: "Good morning princess."
I smile without realizing it, but slapped myself immediately.
Me: "I told you not to call me a princess, didn't I?"
I'm really annoyed when Mark calls me 'Princess', the thoughts of him calling the other girls princess is bothering me so much. Yet, I still smile at it.
Thunders: "you did but Mark Thunders never listens😉"
I rolled my eyes at his answer.
Thunders: "don't forget tomorrow after school."
he said again before I got a chance to reply to his previous text.
