Alicia's POV

"Let's just go home." I say, starting to pack my textbook and stuffs back to my bag.

"You haven't even finished one page." Mark says, furrowing his eyebrow.

Oh shit! I thought he forgot about it, I mean, I kinda distract him with all the talk tho, but I guess, it didn't work out.

"Well, we can continue this the other day right?I mean, you don't look so good after....you know"

He chuckles, "Storms, are you trying to distract me from the fact that I gave you 10 pages of math's exercises?"

"Well, I didn't plan it at first, I swear. But when I saw the change of your expression, I can't help but to think, this is probably the best way for me to get rid of this." I reply, raising the textbook in front of his face.

I didn't expect Mark to tell me the whole story about how he found this forest. I mean, when he said that 'it just happened.' I know that it didn't just happened. So, when he decided to tell me the whole story, I was a little bit surprised.

Mark Thunders never told his secret to anybody, considering his secret has some kind relation with 'his friend', but why me? Why all of a sudden?

And I thought, after he finished telling me the whole story, the situation is going to be so awkward cause just like I said, I can't talk, I can't even think, that's why I decided to just go home because I don't want to stay in this place any longer.

What if this friend of his comes to me and bothers me in my sleep? what if she doesn't like me? what if she's mad at me because Mark brought me to her place?

So many what ifs.

"No excuses, Storms. Do at least 5 pages today, and we can go home." he says, back to his phone and playing video games.

I rolled my eyes but do it anyway. I'll just do it in a stupid way because I don't care anymore, I just want to go home and forget about math.

Mark's POV

"Thanks for the ride." Alicia says when we've arrived in front of her house.

I nod my head.

She was about to close the door but she stopped. She turned her head to me, staring at me for a second.

"Are you okay?" she asks, all of a sudden.

I really want to say no. I really want to say that 'I'm not okay', not at all.

But instead I reply, "Yes, you don't need to worry."

She widened her eyes when she heard my answer, "Who says I'm worrying about you?"

I shrug, "then why are you asking?"

"I just....you know....I thought you'll feel sad because I made you talk about her." she replies, not looking at me.

I smile a little, "I'm the one who wanted to share the story with you though."

She tilts her head to me, "Why me?"

I stare at her, not answering her question.

Why you?
