"So what you wanna do now?"

"I don't know babe you tell me. It's your house." I laughed as I looked up at him.

We were still in his room basking in the ambience I suppose. I just can't believe we're actually together now.

I felt like I was gonna be single forever just because of my crazy trust issues but Keith obviously brings out a side of me that I thought vanished a long time ago.

"You right." He laughed.

"Well you've got me all to your beautiful self for the rest of the night. We can do whatever you want."

I followed behind him to his kitchen and hopped onto the island. While dangling my legs back and forth, he leaned on the counter across from me and chuckled.

"What?"

"Such a child."

"If I'm a child then so is Gina from Martin." We laughed remembering the particular episode.

"Yeah y'all both children."

"Whatever ugly. But how about netflix and chill?"

His eyebrows shot up, "Forreal?"

"Sike. You woulda thought, nasty. I do wanna watch a movie though."

"Scary? Funny? Romaaance?" He dragged out as he rested in between my legs.

"Romance. I love love." A smile lifted my face as I squeezed his cheeks lightly.

"I love you."

Wait what?

It felt like an explosion went off in the pit of my stomach as I stared at him wide eyed. My hands were shaking and I really think my teeth were chattering even though it felt like a hundred degrees in here now.

This man just asked me to be his girlfriend an hour ago and now he wants to give me another heart attack with the three magic words?

I wish I would've woken up prepared for all of this.

"What?"

Keith ran his hand over the top of his head while his face held a distressed look.

"I know you're probably thinking about how crazy I must be to say something like that so early," He sighed before continuing.

"But honestly I mean it, baby. I meant what I said earlier too. You're so right for me Venus. You're the most beautiful girl I've laid eyes on and I lowkey thank the lord for you actually giving me a chance. I wanna show you how incredible you are in my eyes." His eyes were locked on mine as they were sparkling as he spoke.

"It's cool if you feel like it's too early to say it back though. I just couldn't hold that in any longer because I really need you to know how serious this is to me."
