I Woke up to a tapping sound on my window. Looking over a saw a pebble come in contact with the glass. Groggily I got out of bed and stumbled over to my window, I knew exactly who it was. Opening the window I looked down to see the one and only Jared Kleinman. "I swear to god one of these days you're going to shatter my window and I'm not going to be the one paying for it." He laughed.
"They're pebbles y/n what's the worst they could do?" He said crossing his arms.
"Anyway what are you doing here, it's 1:30 in the morning."I said as I rubbed my eyes. He had a sly smirk on his face.
"I wanted to see what kind of trouble we can get into." Jared is always trying to get me to do weird things, nothing that makes me uncomfortable, just...weird. But I always follow along, we've been friends since the 2nd grade after all.
"Oh god, we're gonna die, aren't we?" I said sarcastically. He chuckled
"It's a Tuesday, I know how to restrain myself." He said, puffing out his chest. I scoffed.
"You absolutely do not." He fake pouted.
"Anyway just come with me alright?" He said, gesturing to his car.
"Oooo where are we going?" I replied.
"It's a surprise." And with that I climbed down from my window using the nearby tree. Once I was on the ground we walked over to his car and I got in the passengers seat.
I recognized where we were as soon as we got there. It was an old hill we used to play on back in elementary school.
I looked at Jared and gave him a light hearted smile. When we got to the top of the hill Jared pooped himself down on the dewy grass. I sighed lying down next to him. "So how are things for you y/f/n y/l/n?" He asked.
"The usual, my beast friend is still always inviting me to do crazy shit with him." He elbowed me in the ribs and I hunched over holding my side.
"I don't know you've always felt like a younger sibling to me." I laughed.
"Yeah accept I'm older." He rolled his eyes.
"Only by like 3 days." I laughed and looked up at the sky.
It was a clear night and there weren't a lot of houses in the area so it felt like you could see every star in the universe. I saw something dash across the sky, a shooting star. "What do you wish for." I asked.
"I wish this moment could last forever." He said squeezing my hand and I squeezed back. It's nice to know you'll always have someone by your side no matter what.
