Katniss P.O.V.

I feel something brush against my cheek, and I slowly open my eyes. My heart flutters when I see Peeta smiling at me.

"I was afraid I'd wake up and realize that last night was just a dream," I say truthfully.

"No," Peeta says as he shakes his head. "We're married now. Well, to us we're married anyways." Peeta reaches over and takes my hand in his.

"That's all that matters to me," I tell him.

Peeta nods his head. "Me too," he says softly. He continues to rub his thumb over my cheek, and I close my eyes again.

"I want to just lay here with you all day," I say. Peeta chuckles and kisses the top of my head. I take a deep breath and look back up at him. "But I really need to go let Mom and Prim know that I'm okay before they have a heart attack."

Peeta laughs a little. "You can start moving your things in if you want," he tells me. "After we eat breakfast, I'll help you."

"Okay,"I say. "I promise I'll be back in a few minutes. I just don't want them to panic." Peeta nods his head understandingly.

"Katniss?"

"Yeah?"

Peeta smiles at me. "I love you."

I lean over to kiss him. "I love you too."

I walk through the door to see Prim sitting on the couch brushing Buttercup's fur. When the door shuts, Prim looks up at me with wide eyes.

"Where did you go last night?" she asks as I sit down beside of her.

"Don't worry about it," I tell her. "Where's Mom?"

"I think she had to make a house call," Prim says. "But I have to warn you that she is not happy with you."

"I figured that," I say. "Listen, I'm going to come back later to pack up all of my stuff…"

"You're moving?" Prim asks, almost in tears. I take a deep breath and nod my head.

"But you can't say anything to Mom yet," I tell het. "Let me talk to her. And when she comes back home, will you please let her know that I'm okay?"

"Of course," Prim says. "But I have to ask, Katniss. Are you going to live with Peeta?"

I smile a little and nod my head. "Yeah," I say softly. "So I won't be very far away. And I promise you can come over any time."

"Okay," Prim says quietly. I give her a hug.

"I'll be back later. I just had to let you know that I didn't just disappear." Prim laughs a little, and I stand up off the couch. "I'll see you later," I say before I walk out of the house.

As I'm walking across the Victor's Village, I find myself not being able to get back fast enough. When I woke up this morning in Peeta's arms, I felt like I was home. Like I was safe. That's something I haven't felt in a long time.

As soon as I open the door, that safe feeling washes over me. I relax a little and walk into the kitchen where Peeta's at. I sit down at the table, and Peeta turns to face me.

"I'll have to talk to Mom later," I say. "She wasn't at home, but I'm pretty sure she knows where I'm at anyways." I take a deep breath, and Peeta gives me concerned look.

"Something's bothering you," he says.

"It's just… the look in Prim's eyes when I told her that I'm moving out. I was afraid that the way she looked at me would change after… everything," I say slowly. "Like I'm more of a killer than I am her sister."

"Katniss…"

"Sorry," I say as I shake my head. "I didn't mean to say that last part out loud." Peeta takes a deep breath.

"I was just going to say that you know Prim won't ever see you any differently."

"She was giving me the same look you are right now."

Peeta raises an eyebrow at me. "What look am I giving you?"

"The look that says that no matter what I do, you'll always love me."

Peeta gives me a small smile. "That's because it's true," Peeta says as he leans over and gives me a quick kiss. "I think the food is done if you're ready to eat." I nod my head, and Peeta begins to serve breakfast.

"Is this the last one?" Peeta asks as he sets a box down on the bed.

"Yeah, I think so," I say to him.

After breakfast, I went back over to pack all my things up. Mom was there this time, but neither of us said a word to each other as Peeta and I carried out what little I had.

"Thank you for helping me," I tell him. Peeta gives me a look.

"Why wouldn't I help you?" Peeta asks me. "You're my wife now." I can't fight the smile forming on my face. That word has never been used in reference to me until now.

Peeta pulls me in, and I close my eyes. Maybe if we stand here long enough, my dreams will come true. We'll wake up in a different time frame, on a different universe, with no threats hanging over our heads. Nothing to worry about. No more Games. No more Snow.

And I am determined to make that happen.
