I haven't had time to read this yet. My friend just sent it to me. Hope you all enjoy.

Katniss P.O.V.

The news spread like wild fire. Most everybody thought I was already pregnant of course, but the people here in District 12 who knew better are starting to figure out that it isn't a lie this time.

We've decided to tell our families this morning, but they've probably already heard about it anyways. I'd rather let them just hear about it through gossip, but this does give me a chance to see Prim.

I stand in front of the mirror in the bathroom with a hand on my stomach. I don't have a bump yet, even though I have gained a little weight. But I don't look pregnant. I look… healthy. I look well-fed instead of like I'm carrying a child.

"Katniss?" Peeta says as he knocks on the bathroom door. "Are you alright?"

"Yeah," I say as I open the door. Peeta reaches out and carefully lays his hand on my stomach, a new habit that he's acquired.

"You're not sick this morning?"

"No," I say as I shake my head.

"Good," Peeta says as he pulls me towards him. He places a hand on my cheek and leans down to kiss me.

"Are you ready to go get this over with?" I ask Peeta. He looks at me and takes a deep breath.

"Katniss, it might be best if I tell my family by myself," Peeta says.

I look up at him. "Why?" I ask.

"Because I don't know how they're going to react," he says. "Especially my mom."

"I'm not afraidof her," I say. Peeta laughs and kisses the top of my head.

"I'd rather you stay here," he tells me. "I mean, if you really want to go with me…"

"It's okay," I say, knowing he really doesn't want me to go. "I understand." Peeta kisses me, and then he kneels down in front of me. He lifts my shirt up a little and presses a kiss on my stomach over where our baby lies.

"Take care of Momma until I get back," Peeta says softly. He looks up at me, and we smile at each other.

"I never thought I'd ever hear myself be called that," I say. Peeta stands back up and wraps his arms around my waist.

"Get used to it," he says. "You'll be hearing it a lot from now on." I laugh a little, and Peeta leans in to kiss my lips again.

"I won't be gone long," he says. I nod my head, and Peeta leaves the room. I lay my hand on my stomach and take a deep breath.

It's impossible to imagine that there's a baby living inside of me. A baby that's a part of Peeta, and a part of me. But what isn't hard to imagine is the fact that I love this baby, and he or she is someone I will fight for.

I debate on wether to go ahead and tell Mom, or to wait until Peeta gets back. Eventually, I decide to go ahead and get it over with. I barely make it halfway across the Victor's Village before Prim comes running out of the house.

"Is it true this time?" Prim asks as she comes over to me. She stops in front of me and looks up at me with wide eyes. "Am I really going to be an aunt?"

"Yeah." Before I even get the word completely out, Prim squeals and wraps her arms around me.

"Boy or girl?" she asks excitedly. I laugh a little, but she continues before I can say anything. "Never mind. It's obviously too soon to tell. But have you seen the baby yet?"
