Christine told Erik everything about her 'closure' with Raoul. Even though she was desperately in love with Erik, it still hurt her to let it one of her most 'trusted' friend go. Erik would do everything to make her happy. But it didn't take long.

Christine's parents called her and told her they would be gone another week. Christine was sad, but also happy because she had more time with Erik. But every now and then Christine couldn't help but feel sad and feared of what her parents are facing.

Sure they told her it wasn't a big deal, but with the knowledge of her mom's past in her head, made her worry a bit more. It was nerve wracking for her, so much it caused her to hallucinate a bit and have more nightmares.

Erik noticed this for sure. Every time she had hallucinated or had a 'bad dream' he would comfort her and hold her close. Christine loved that he cared for her, but she felt like a child every time he did that. But he reassured her that it was alright to feel that way. He would never judge her.

One night Christine screamed from, yet another bad dream. She put her head on her knee's and she wrapped her arms around her legs. Her eyes shut. She never cried, only breathed deeply, trying to calm herself. She held herself their for a few moments(which felt like an eternity) and thought of her nightmare. It was about her parents getting killed..... She inhaled sharply trying hard to hold back tears.

She then felt his arms around her, picking her up from the bed and holding herself against him. She didn't struggled, but accepted. Wrapping her arms around him and breathing deeply again, holding back tears. She then felt him walk towards the fireplace(which was lit) and seated himself. Herself still in his arms. Feeling a blanket around her and the warmth of the fire. He would rub her back, arm, and stroke her hair, while humming a beautiful tune. She didn't open her eyes, and neither of them talked, except his humming and soft singing. Only their actions were enough. She would always fall asleep to him comforting her and she held onto him more tightly. She felt selfish but deep down she loved they way he watched over her while she slept. It made her feel special.

In the morning Christine woke up to someone kissing her head. She fluttered her eyes open and saw Erik's looking right into hers. She smiled and he smiled back.

"Good morning, my precious angel."

"Good morning, Erik."

"Did you sleep well?"

"With you right beside me, I do. Did you sleep well?"

"I couldn't sleep with you needing me. Besides I don't sleep like normal people do." Erik explained.

Christine grew worried and curious "Why? Do you even try too?"

"I don't normally sleep the way other people do. And like I said, how can I sleep with you needing me."

Christine smiled again. "But I don't want you to feel like, I'm burdening you."

Erik reassured her "Christine your Not a burden. I enjoy comforting you. Please don't think of it like that. I only want to help you."

Christine smiled, putting her head on his chest. She loved this feeling and wished it never ended. She then hummed a little tune that came into her head. Which turned into her softly singing.
