Julian and Bella were married quickly for a number of reasons. Pure love, small budget, and one bundle of joy on its way into the world.
Millie Arielle Spencer was born on July 21 to Miles and Arabella Spencer. She was born healthy and happy. Of course, they had their struggles. Bella became a stay at home mom, while Julian continued working as a professor, primarily taking care of Millie through the evenings and nights. Though exhausting, they couldn't be happier. Each day, they proved to themselves that they didn't have to be like their parents. No over controlling or abuse in the Spencer home. Slowly, they saved and saved, buying a small house along the way. Bella and Julian never forgot about their dream.
When Millie was six, their dreams finally came true. After years of dedication and hard work, along with some tweaking, Bella and Julian finally achieved their life long dream.
They opened Spencer's Performing Acts Academy for the Disabled.
Bella and Julian taught and ran the academy for twenty years, meeting hundreds of students, each treated like one of their own. Millie grew up in the studio. Her love for the stage shined. At the age of 25, after graduating from the DC Performing Arts University, she took over the Academy, her parents finally retiring.
Bella and Julian traveled the world together. Rome, Paris, London, Brazil... Each destination gave them a new story.
Millie married her lifelong best friend at the age of 27. Dylan Merck, an amputee born without most of his right arm, attended her parents academy. The two grew up together, eventually falling in love. They had two children, a boy and a girl, 3 years apart.
Bella and Julian never left each other's sides. Even in the nursing home, Julian still did her hair. Without each other, they would both still feel empty.
Every now and then, Mia would cross Julian's mind. He wondered how life might have been if it wasn't for Nate or the mistaken nurse. Although he missed her, everything happens for a reason. Here was Bella, his guardian angel. The two would often laugh as they thought about what truly brought them together.
Animal Jam. A children's game by National Geographic. A game meant to educate kids about the earth and wildlife. This game brought two unknowing souls together. Every hacking, every subscriber, each video, each post. Everything lead to this. A lifelong love.
Bella passed away at age 82 along side her daughter, her grandchildren, and of course, Julian. Heartbreak couldn't even begin to describe how Julian felt. This women brought him back from the dead.
Julian spent the last years of his life playing piano and spending time with his grandchildren, along with his first great grandchild. Although each day was hard without Bella, he knew she was close by. She was always with him.
Julian peacefully passed away in his sleep at age 95, joining Bella in heaven.
Is there really any other word to describe the love felt between them than love? They made each other's lives not only livable, but fun and full of adventure. Ups and downs? Yes. But love was always there.
