Bella sat patiently at the little metal bistro table. She fidgeted with her hair as she waited for Julian to come. He didn't blow her off, did he? She had just began to worry when she saw Julian in the distance making his way over to her. She gave a sigh of relief and waved at him with a smile.

"Hey Julian!" She said as Julian came closer to her table. He smiled.

"Hey Bella," he said sweetly. He pulled out the chair and went to sit, his movement seeming almost stiff. Bella brushed it off.

"How were the rest of your classes?" She asked.

"Meh, they were alright, I guess," he said with a shrug. He fixed his glasses. Bella giggled. His face had hardly changed. He still had those big brown eyes, and that cute condescending smirk. "What's so funny?" He asked with a chuckle.

"Just you," she laughed. Julian gave her an exaggerated eye roll. The two laughed at one another.

"I'll go get us some yogurt. What type did you want?" He asked.

"Doesn't matter to me," she said with a smile. Julian nodded and stood up from the table and walked into the little building. He returned after a few short minutes.

The two sat with smiles on their faces as they are their yogurts, continuing to talk about all sorts of things. Bella told Julian about her high school experience. The highs, the lows, and the inbetweens. He no longer felt like some sort of celebrity, but a friend. A very handsome friend, at that.

After they finished, they decided to walk around the outskirts of the campus until they came upon a big fountain. The two sat down on the ledge. Julian took Bella's hand into his before slipping it away. Bella opened her hand to find a penny inside.

"Make a wish," he smiled. She nodded and made a wish. Bella felt her face go pink as she threw the shiny coin into the fountain. Wish a small plop, it sank to the bottom, still shining from under the clear water.

"What did you wish for?" Julian asked. Bella smiled.

"If I tell you, it won't come true!" She giggled. Julian gave an exaggerated sigh.

"That's just a myth," he said with a smirk on his face, trying to explain serious. Bella laughed.

"Oh, and wishing in a fountain isn't?" She asked sassily. Julian laughed.

"Hey, that was my one cent, I get to know," he said, still chuckling. Bella sighed.

"Fine. I wished for... confidence," she said, her eyes glancing down at her hands.

"Confidence to do what?" Julian asked curiously. Bella looked up at Julian and took a deep breath.

"To do this," before Julian could ask, Bella leaned her head up and kissed him. His shock quickly turned into joy as he kissed her back. He gently set his hand on her waist. She reached her hand up to his head and felt his thick curls in between her fingers.

Bella set her hand on his leg, which felt extremely odd. She leaned back and looked at his leg, then at Julian. His hands clammed up.

"Could we talk about this at my apartment?" He asked softly. Bella silently nodded.
