Temptations (Edward Cullen love story)

Chapter 13

  "So you going to prom Gabby?" Mike asked me the next day before our fifth period class started. I had been so wrapped up in Edward vil that I had totally forgotten about prom.
    "Maybe. I'm not so sure yet". I answered him honestly. "No ones really asked me yet". Mike smiled.
     "Maybe you'd want to go with-"
     "Glad I found you!" I turned around to find both Alice and Hailey smiling at me. Hailey grabbed me by the arm and started to drag me away from Mike.
      "Mike is it okay if Gabby sits next to us for today?" Hailey asked him batting her eyes. Mike smiled and slowly nodded his head. Alice smiled and sat me right down in between her and Hailey.
     "Do all the Cullen's hate Mike or something?" I asked them. Hailey shook her head.
     "No, but if he ask you to prom then we do". Hailey stated. I raised an eyebrow at her statement.
     "Why? It's not like I was going to go anyway-".  
      "Of course you have to go!"
      "Why? I don't have a date".
Alice smiled. "Yes you do. Are you forgetting our brother Edward. If you had any interest in going to prom he wouldn't hesitate to ask you". She stated. I let out a sigh. Some part of me did want to experience prom with Edward, but we were trying to take things slow for right now and I didn't think this qualified as taking things slow. Though I could have been wrong.
     "I don't know". I sighed.
     "Gabby you and Edward will end up together. I've seen it. Besides I don't need some visions to tell me that. Every time he comes home from being with you he's happy. Truly happy. I have never seen him this happy not even with Bella. Don't sell yourself short. You two are meant to be". Alice stated firm. She was so sure of it and yet I had doubts about...us. I sighed and turned my attention to the teacher.
          After school was finished I headed for the library hoping to get a good start on my English paper due early next week when I spotted Bella and Edward talking. I hid behind a near book case and tried to listen in on there conversation.
    "Bella I do care about you still, but Gabby she...she-"
     "She's the one isn't she? Your mate. Alice saw it didn't she?" Bella stated firm. It seemed quite odd to me that Bella would be angry at Edward for being with me. She was the one who had betrayed him by cheating on him with another guy.
     "Yes she is and I care about her very much". I sighed and just ran straight out of the library and desperately hoping that nobody noticed me.

Sorry that this chapter is so short. I promise however that the next one will be longer. I can guarantee it.
