Stories with Will using his special catchphrase.

Will sneaks outside to catch Halt...picking wildflowers! When Halt doesn't turn around, Will decides to continue watching. Without turning around, Halt says, "Hullo, Will." Will, being oblivious, stayed completely still. Halt shrugged nonchalantly, deciding he would let his former apprentice think whatever he wanted. Maybe Will wasn't there after all. He walked away, into a different meadow, and Will waited until he was a safe distance away to follow Halt.
On the way to the next meadow, he devised a plan to scare Halt. He decided to head back to the cabin, but when he turned around, he found himself looking up at Lady Pauline. She motioned for him to stay quiet and then get out of sight, so, Will tucked himself behind a tree. He was still a safe distance away from Halt.
Unfortunately, his former mentor knew he was there the whole time; he could sense Will. What he didn't sense was Lady Pauline. Since she was a trained diplomat, she kept her laughter in as she watched her husband picking pretty flowers. After she and Will had enough of watching Halt and his hobby, Pauline said, "So, Halt."
Halt turned around slowly, completely mortified. His face was a bright shade of red. Will had never seen his former mentor so embarrassed. Will tried not to say anything, but he just couldn't help himself.
"Awky Shitaki!" he exclaimed.
Halt gave him a death glare and threw the no longer bouquet of flowers at the younger ranger.
Will fell to the ground, laughing until there were tears in his eyes. He was rolling on the ground like a maniac.
"Halt...is...a...SOFTIE!" he said, in between gasps.
"You never saw that," Halt grumbled.

Will and Alyss rode to the castle to visit Horace and Cassandra. They needed to discuss a mission, and discuss Madelyn.
"I just don't understand what we are doing wrong! She's 12! She shouldn't be running off in the woods!" Cassandra exclaimed. Horace put a comforting arm around his wife.
"Maybe you should let her be who she is. After all, that was you when you were a girl," Alyss suggested.
"I'm done with her. This needs to stop," Cassandra replied.
Will could hear Maddie open the door, but Cassandra was too busy ranting and neither her nor Horace heard their daughter entering the room.
"That little-" Cassandra started, but she saw Will was trying to give her some signal, so she stopped talking.
"What were you going to say, mom?" Maddie asked.
Cassandra's jaw dropped. She didn't know what to say. But Will did.
"Awky Shitaki!" he said.
Cassandra sent Maddie out of the room and gave her old friend a look that said, I'm gonna kill you.
