Chapter 3: Secret Test

Team 9 headed out into the woods. Kyari was very excited, because she loved being in the woods. Once they got there, Miyuki-sensei told them what they were going to work on.

"First, we will work on kunai and shuriken throwing."

"Miyuki-sensei, aren't shuriken dangerous?" Masashi asked.

"Yes, but one day, you may have to use them to defeat an enemy. Next , we will work on performing jutsus, such as the transformation jutsu and the subsitution jutsu."

"Miyuki-sensei, later on, will we learn new jutsus?" Kyari asked.

"Yes, and we will create a personal jutsu for each of you, but not now. After we work on jutsus, we will work on using your own weapons, such has Kyari's sword."

Kyari had brought her sword, just in case she would be able to use it.

"Lastly, if we have time, you will fight each other so I can see where you rank in the group. Let's first start on throwing kunai and shuriken. I will make shadow clones of myself, and they will disperse through the forest. You must use shuriken and kunai to defeat them, and you have 30 minutes to do so."

Miyuki-sensei made 30 shadow clones of herself, and put a red "X" on their foreheads so the group would know to attack them, and not the real her. The shadow clones then dispersed.

"3...2...1...start!" Miyuki-sensei said, and the group quickly went after them. After about a minute of searching, Team 9 met up in the middle of the forest.

"Have any of you gotten one?" Masashi asked.

"No." Kyari and Satoshi said.

"Me neither. Maybe we should work together."

"Okay."Kyari said.

"We should be able to find them a lot faster." Satoshi said.

The group started to search the forest.

"I found one!" Kyari said

She perched up onto a tree to get a good view of her. Kyari saw the red "X" on her forehead. She grabbed a kunai, and threw it right through her head. Kyari caught up with the group.

"While you got that one, Satoshi and I got two more."

After about 5 minutes, Team 9 had gotten 10 shadow clones of Miyuki-sensei.

"Let's take a break." Satoshi said.

"I'll go and see if there are any shadow clones near us." Kyari said.

"But shouldn't you get some rest." Masashi asked.

"No, I'm not really tired. But if I don't see any, I'll take a break."

"Okay." Masashi said.

Kyari looked around her. She found two Miyuki-senseis with red "Xs" on their foreheads. Kyari hit both of them with shuriken in the back. Kyari looked around some more, but she didn't see any, so she went back to the group.

"Did you find any?" Satoshi asked.

"Yeah, I found two."

"Good, let's go find some more." he said.

10 minutes later, they had defeated all of the shadow clones. They reported back to Miyuki-sensei.

"Wow!" Miyuki-sensei exclaimed. "I didn't expect you to defeat them so quickly. Now that you've finished defeating the shadow clones, we will work on jutsus. I know that you all can successfully perform the transformation jutsu, so I want you perform the clone jutsu."
