"Now that we know what your second chakra nature is, you can now learn how to do fire style jutsus." Miyuki–sensei said.
"How will you do that if you're in earth style user?" Kyari asked.
"I'll tell you what you'll need to do, but you will half to learn how to manipulate your chakra so that it is a fire chakra nature. It is like how you were able to burn Litmus Paper."
"So what are we going to do first?" Kyari asked.
Miyuki-sensei took kunai knife and cut off a piece of wood from a tree.
"You are going to set this piece of wood on fire."
Kyari tried to burn the piece of wood, but just like with the Litmus Paper, it kept getting wet. Kyari tried to re-create the feeling she had one she burned the Litmus Paper. When she did this, the wood only darkened a little on the edges.
'At least I've made some progress.'
She kept trying, but after an hour had passed, she was exhausted. She had used up a lot of chakra, and she felt like she was going to pass out.
"Miyuki-sensei... I'm very tired... can I...get something to eat?" Kyari asked between pants.
"Sure." Miyuki-sensei said, and she gave Kyari her sword.
"I'm just getting something to eat, I'm sure I'll be fine."
"But you need this to hunt."
"Why can't I get something to eat back at the village?"
"Because this is training. You must learn to hunt."
"Okay, I'll go and hunt."
She took her sword and left.
'I'll just pretend I'm going off to hunt, when I'm really going back to the village.'
Just after she thought this, Miyuki-sensei made some hand signs:
"Earth Style: Earth Barrier Wall." Miyuki- sensed said. "Now I'll know that you haven't left to go to the village."
'How did she know?!' Kyari thought.
This time, Kyari really went off to hunt. Kyari started to search the woods, and after a few minutes of searching, she came across a wild boar.
"Shadow Clone Jutsu!"
Kyari made 2 shadow clones of herself to help her catch the wild boar.
One of the shadow clones stayed up in the trees, while the other two stayed on the ground.
"1...2...3!" the original Kyari said, and all three of them charged at the wild boar.
Within 5 minutes, the boar was killed with 2 kunai in its back, and Kyari's sword through its head. The 2 shadow clones then poofed away, and Kyari took the wild boar back to camp. As Kyari was walking back to camp, rain clouds started to move int the sky. Kyari soon got back to camp, and she put the wild boar down.
"Miyuki-sensei, I got a wild boar."
"Good. Now you just have to make a fire and cook it."
"Okay." Kyari said, and she went to go and get some firewood and two sticks to start he fire.
Once she put the firewood down, it started to rain. All of the wood was wet, she couldn't make a fire.
"Earth Style: Earth Dome Jutsu." Miyuki-sensei said, and a small hut arose from the ground
"You can make the fire in there." Miyuki-sensei said.
"But all of the wood is wet." Kyari said.
"You'll have to use your fire change in chakra nature to start the fire. And if you don't, you won't be able to eat."
"But you won't be able to eat either." Kyari said.
"I brought my own food." Miyuki-sensei said.
Kyari started to try to make the fire. At first, only the wood blackened. Many hours had passed, and a small flame appeared. She kept trying, and finally, the wood caught fire. Kyari cooked the wild boar, which took about 5 hours. She was so hungry that she ate about half of the boar. After she ate, she quickly fell asleep from using up most of her chakra, and eating most of the boar. Kyari finally learned how to use her fire change in chakra nature.
