She failed. Only one. She couldn't do another. The people celebrated. The demon hadn't passed. Hooray! She was confused, saddened, angry, and all emotions in between. Neji tried to comfort her, but it hadn't worked.
Hizashi invited her to dinner, in which she declined. Later, Hinata quietly cried in her favorite lily patch. 'Why?'
Naruto watched Hinata. No! He wasn't a stalker! He just hated seeing her so sad. He had passed, as he kinda accidentally made ten shadow clones...
It was embarrassing, as Mizuki passed out, and Iruka's jaw was on the floor. His father was proud of him, smiling and laughing, showing signs that the man Naruto called father was still alive, somewheres in there. He would try his best to make Minato smile.
Naruto had hoped he and Hinata might get the same team, maybe with Sasuke as well, even though the possibility was almost nonexistent. He remembered the time he first met the Hyūga Heiress, and he couldn't help but smile. Naruto then, not focusing on being quiet, stepped on a stick. 'Damn it! Way to go, Naruto.' He thought, biting his lip.
"Wh-who's there?" Luckily, someone else spoke up.
"Hinata."
"Mizuki~sensei? W-what are you here!" She said, suddenly protective. The sensei walked to the girl, a comforting look on his face, his hands out for embrace. The jester made the Hyūga calm. Naruto watched intently. He used his skill as a sensory type to enable his chakra, so Mizuki couldn't sense him.
"I know you didn't pass, and I feel like you should have. You tried your best." The shinobi said, calmly.
"W-why- why do you c-care?" Hinata questioned. Naruto wondered as well. Mizuki was never really that helpful.
"Hinata, I know another way. There is a scroll in the Hokage's house. If you learn a jutsu from that scroll, Iruka will have to pass you." Mizuki lied.
"R-really?" Hinata asked.
"Really! Plus, you are strong. I know you can do it!" Hinata was tearing at this point. Someone... actually cared.
"Mizuki~sensei..." she started. She then grabbed the white hair man into her embrace. "Thank you!" Naruto was confused. This scroll... sounds dangerous. But he ignored this and started heading back to his house. He had to eat, anyway.
Hinata hurried into the Third's house. She tiptoed through, with quite good stealth skills, and undid the seals like Mizuki showed her. 'This is much easier than I thought.' She thought to herself. Activating her Byakugan, she looked for a scroll as large as her sensei had said. Upon finding it, the ravenette deactivated the dōjutsu. She grabbed it, and turned around.
"What do you think you're doing?" 'Shit.' The third hokage was right there, staring at her. In a hurry, she reactivated her byakugan, hit the hokage where the sun don't shine, and jumped out the window, exhausted.
'This... is gonna be one long night.'
Hey guys! Guess who is not dead, just a lazyass! That's right! Me! Anywho, I hope you enjoyed this as much as I enjoy sleeping. See ya next time.
