Iruka watched as Hinata ran away. What was she thinking?
"Did you see the look in her eye? She is going to get revenge on the villagers! Like the beast she is." Mizuki laughed. Iruka stood up and threw the shuriken away.
"She isn't like that. Not at all." Iruka said, confidently. Mizuki laughed.
"You aren't even worth killing. I'm going to 'save' the villagers from the demon, then take the scroll for myself!" Then he leaped into the trees. Iruka grimaced.

Hinata panted as she hide behind a tree. She looked around frantically. 'Is he gone?' Hinata was about to come out of hiding, when she heard someone shouting.
"Hinata! Hand me the scroll!" Hinata tensed. 'Iruka~sensei?' This was all too much. She glanced behind the tree as Iruka hit a tree. The ravenette gasped, and unbeknownst to her, someone was concealing her chakra.
"H-how...?" She watched as the figure poofed into Mizuki. 'It's a hinge!' Hinata realized. "How did you know I wasn't Iruka?" A figure jumped out of the trees, one that looked exactly like Hinata.
"Th-that wasn't to hard, s-sensei." The person unhinged, revealing Iruka. "Because I am." Hinata watched, activating her byakugan.
"Why do you try so hard to protect that brat? You know, me and her have somethings in common. You can see a demon through our eyes!" Mizuki grinned. Iruka sighed.
"You're right." Hinata gasped. Had Iruka just... So it was true. She was a demon. "You can see if someone's a demon through your eyes. But Hinata's eyes... They hold a excitable, shy, sweet innocence that no demon could have. So you see, that's why I believe that, even if she holds a demon, their is no way she could ever be one. Different things could be said for you, however."
Hinata was crying. She would yell this at the top of her lungs, had she not been hiding. She felt an odd confidence boost, just because Iruka had so much confidence in her. She was happier than she had ever been.
Mizuki rose his weapon. "Well, it seems you'll never get to tell her that." Hinata's eyes widened. She suddenly felt a spike of anger. Anger she had concealed over the years. Anger toward the Hyūga Clan for denying her access, anger toward the villagers for their blind hate, and, as of now, anger toward Mizuki for manipulating her. She ran out from behind the tree and, using gentle fist, hit Mizuki in his side, sending him flying.
"Hin-Hinata?" Iruka asked. She turned toward her sensei and smiled.
"Here." She said, presenting him with a balm of sorts. "I was saving this for another occasion, but that doesn't matter. It should help your wounds." Iruka just stared, surprised the girl didn't stutter once.
"Why you...!" Mizuki picked himself up. "You brat! I'll kill you!" He ran at Hinata, but she turned her heal, barely dodging. She connected her hand to his throat, and put a mental countdown on in her head.
Mizuki coughed a little, before running at Hinata again. She block and tried to land a hit, but he countered. This went down until Mizuki suddenly doubled over, coughing blood.
"That is the secret of the gentle fist." Hinata said, standing over Mizuki. "You can train your body, but you can't train your internal organs." Mizuki stood up, shakily. He ran at Hinata again, but slower this time. She easily dodged, and her elbow lit up with purple chakra.
"Chakra cutter!" The blade on her elbow didn't cut Mizuki, but it severed his chakra. The sudden change in chakra caused him to black out.
Hinata panted, deactivating her byakugan. She turned to Iruka and threw a thumbs up before passing out from chakra exhaustion.

Hinata eyes fluttered open slowly. She was about to speak, but a voice beside her lit up.
"You're in the hospital." She turned to see Iruka~sensei. Something seemed off about him.
"What happened to Mizuki?"
"He's in a jailing hospital. Trust me, he'll get what he deserves. Tell me, how's your forehead feel?" Hinata frowned.
"My..." she lifted her hand to touch her forehead, and gasped. She felt something cold. Something metal. Then she noticed what was off about Iruka. He didn't have his forehead protector.
"Congratulations, Hyūga Hinata! You pass!"
