Death. That was all that Hyūga Haniki could see. (Hinata's mom has no official name.) She was tired. Tired of holding the Kyūbi. Tired of being in labor. Why had a Hyūga been chosen? To bring diversity. And why was she chosen? Her abnormally large chakra.
Hiashi. she thought, softly.
Meanwhile, Hyūga Hiashi was trying to fight off the fox. It was his job, after all. Due to his victory over many important battles in the Third Great Shinobi War and his experience as a leader, he was chosen as the next hokage.
He didn't panicked when he realized he couldn't seal a whole kyūbi to it's, and his, death, rather staying calm and collected in front of his comrades. Time for plan B. He had hoped he never had to do this, but there was no choice.
When Hiashi entered his home, he was greeted by screams.
"Calm down, Haniki.""You try giving labour!" Hiashi sighed. He didn't want to tell her his decision at a time like this, but proceeded to explain to her.
Hiashi was to seal half of the kyuubi inside him, and Haniki was to release the other half to be sealed into their unborn child.
The couple would die. Now Haniki wasn't a big fan of dying, that's for sure, but to protect her child...She would kill nations.
Her anger quickly turned into pain, and many screams of, "Just do it, Hiashi!" Then her child was brought into her arms... Their child. Their saviour. Their little light.
"Hello, Hinata."

Minato was running, carrying his wife soldier style. Where was their child? Kushina kept helping random civilians, and her chakra was running low.
The streets were dangerous, yet one year old Naruto still paddled his little feet around without getting hurt. How? Why, he was the child of Namikaze ne Uzumaki Kushina! He may have looked like his father, but he was bubbly, bright, and a nucklehead, just like his mother.
When walking around, the ninetails, on it's way to the Uchiha household, crashed into a building... Which Naruto was walking besides. Kushina, who had run away from her husband to help more people, was sweating, yet she refused to give up. Fuck diversity, this wouldn't have happened if she was sealed. Konoha didn't have to suffer. Tears rolled down her eyes.
Yet still, something caught her eye. No someone... Wearing orange?
"NARUTO!" Kushina cried. She saw her child was safe! But her joy was soon replaced with horror. The building in which he was walking next to toppled. So she she did what any mother would do. She pushed him.
Minato was with his student, Kakashi. His only student left. They were looking for Kushina. Then they saw her. And she saw them. She nodded towards Naruto. She then gave a closed eyed smile, one Kakashi would one day learn to make.
And the building fell on her.

Sasuke had his chin, in a snotty manor. He was Uchiha, after all. It was his first day at the academy, and most of the girls came to him like nice to cheese. A lot of girls didn't storm towards him, but only one caught his attention.
She had cotton candy colored hair, and Sasuke wasn't a fan of pink, or sweets, for the matter. But her hair was vibrant and eye-catching, nonetheless. She had jade eyes, and a smile, but a sadness hidden deep inside her eyes. Sasuke felt a pit in his stomach. For now, he left the girl alone.
Many expected a coup, which the Uchiha were fully willing to give, but the Third did not want this, striving for a peaceful ending. At the end, they found this ending, and as Sasuke Uchiha walked into his home, he saw his whole family. He never knew how much he took this for granted.

Sakura smiled. She was back from the academy principal's office. She had just signed up for the academy, despite her parents wishes. She would show them. She would be a ninja, and nothing would stop her! She was Haruno Sakura, Shannaro!
Walking home, Sakura noticed something. The lights were out, but it was to early for her parents to go to sleep. She ignored it. Until she remembered, it was supposed to be the day of Chōchin Matsuri, the lantern festival. She walked slowly into her house, the door creaking open.
"Mom? Pa?" She looked around desperately. She looked on the living room, the kitchen, her parents room. Then she put her hand on her doorknob. She smelt blood.
Outer. You want to be a ninja, right? Then gather the courage to open the door!
Sakura knew inner was right. She sighed and opened the door. She was greeted with her parents. Or rather, their bodies, cut up, and hung by her ceiling fan. Sakura couldn't take it. She passed out.
This is what happens when your parents are enemy spies. She didn't know this, however. She probably would never know this, but she would try to remember what she did know about them.
