The Truth Hurts

Iruka was eating ramen with Naruto when he was summoned by the hokage. Naruto looked worried. He had hoped it was something small, like a broken desk, or some spray paint on the chalk board.

It wasn't.

The dolphin was frantic. He was really surprised that his most mannered, quietest, drama hating student would do something like this. And he was worried that she might've been forced. The hokage had coughed up blood, so they could pin it to her, from the hokage's account, and the Hyūga Clan taijutsu. The people who knew were going crazy. They all wanted the jinchuuriki dead now more than ever.

Iruka still had trouble believing this, though. Why? Was she playing a prank with the Orange Spike, Naruto? Was she being forced, or under genjutsu? Was the fox under control? No. That was not the case. Hinata might've been young, but she was strong. The sensei had faith in his student.

The ravenette was found exhausted, but smiling a rare smile. She had been trying to do one of the scrolls jutsu, and she finally cracked the nut.

"Sensei." Hinata puffed. "I did it. I learned one of the jutsu. Will... Will you pass me?" She was to exhausted to be shy.

Iruka grew angry. "YOUNG LADY, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING WITH THAT!!??" And he smacked her square in the head.

"O-ow." Hinata rubbed the newly formed bump. "What w-was that for?" Hinata said hushed.

"Why did you steal that?!" The dolphin pointed at the scroll. Hinata stared for a second.

"I thought... I-if I learned a-a jutsu from here, you'd p-pass me."

"Who told you that?" The sensei softened slightly.

"M-Mizuki~sensei..." Iruka looked confused, but soon the look was replace with realization.

"Hinata, get down now!" And the kunai flew strait at them. He pushed Hinata out the way, getting hit in his knee and chest.
