Chapter 6

Haley's POV

Suddenly the sun began to peek over my window and kissed my cheek. I woke up and walked to my bathroom. I took a bath and then got dressed. I was wearing a pink dress that wasn't poofy and stopped right before it touched the floor with matching heels. I did my make up and curled my hair. I pinned the front sides up and stuck flowers in my hair. I walked to my door and realized the spell was down. I walked down to the kitchen. Hey Susan do you have an, I began. Here is your apple sweetie, she said handing me a red apple. O Susan you know me so well, I said smiling. Thank you, I said. Your Welcome, she said. I walked off to the library. I was looking around when I found the book I wanted. My apple was gone by now so I threw it away. I grabbed the book "Her Handsome Hero", I was reading and finished the book. Belle was right this book was amazing. I found a record player and began to play music. I hummed to it as I was looking for books and cleaning. Haley, I heard a voice behind me. I screamed. I turned around. It was mom. Can you stop scaring my, I snapped. I'm sorry, she said. I turned back around to finish what I was doing. Do you want to talk about yesterday, she asked? You mean when you were extremely rude and wasn't going to let me finish my conversation or when you locked me up in my room like an animal, I asked with a hit of anger in my voice. Evie, she said. Yes mother, I said with sarcasm. I kept cleaning and organizing the books. I am sorry, she said. It's ok, I said. Do you want some breakfast, she asked? Nothank you I already had an apple, I said. She nodded. She was about to leave. Um mom, I said. She stopped. Yes, she asked turning around. Could you teach me how to use my magic, I asked? She smiled I would love to, she said. She taught me how to use my magic and I learned it all really fast. She taught me how to rip out a heart. Would you like to try it, she asked. No thank you, I said. Ok, she said. Thank you for teaching me, I said. Your welcome, she said. Well I am going to go to my room, I said. Mother nodded and then disappeared. I walked back to the castle. I walked up the grand staircase to my room. I opened my door and shut it behind me. I walked to my balcony and sat outside. Are we bored, I heard someone ask behind me. I screamed and spun around. It was Cora. Why does everyone have to scare me, I asked? O I'm sorry I didn't mean to startle you, she said. It's ok, I said looking back out at the forest. So I see you have powers, she said. Yeah, I said. Then suddenly I saw movement in the forest. Mother, I heard Regina yell. She sounded mad. Then Cora disappeared. I looked back out into the forest and I saw someone out there. I used magic to teleport to where they were. They jumped when they saw me. It was a boy around my age. Who are you and what are you doing stalking around my castle, I said harshly. I'm not stalking around your castle I'm stalking around the Queen's castle, he said. The Queen is my mother which also makes this my castle, I said rudely. Did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning, he asked? No normally I'm very nice but my mother said that the only way you can get information out of someone is to scare them or be really mean, I said. Yeah well how is that working out for you, he asked? Now that I think of it, it doesn't really work with my mother either because that's what she does with the villagers and they never tell her anything, I said. He nodded. Do you like Snow White, I asked? Of course, he said. Do you, he asked? Absolutely, I said as if it was a duh moment. So let me get this straight you are the Evil Queen's daughter and you like Snow White, he said. Yep, I said. That's new, he said laughing. I laughed with him. I didn't know the Queen had a daughter, he said. I didn't know I was her daughter either till a few months ago, I said. How old are you, he asked? 14 you, I asked. Same, he said. Will you tell me who you are now, I asked? I am Jace, he said. Nice to meet you Jace I am Haley, I said extending my hand out for him to shake. He grabbed it and shook it. Then I felt a jolt of energy. You have powers, I said. How did you know, he asked surprised. When I shook your hand I could feel it. Your magic is different though, I said. Yeah I have some normal powers but I have a few that are a little out of the ordinary, he said. Like what, I asked? Well I have weather powers, he said. That is amazing, I said. You have to have powerful parents who are they, I asked? Please don't freak out, he said. Jace my mother is the fucking Evil Queen I can handle it, I said rolling my eyes. He just laughed. Ok well I don't know who my mother is but my father is Rumplestilkin, he said. No fucking way, I said. Do you live with him, I asked? Yes, he said. Wow I think you beat me for worst parent, I said. Yeah I think I beat you too, he said. Haley, I heard mother yell. Coming, I yelled back. So I have to go but do you want to meet at the river tomorrow lets say after lunch, I asked? Sounds like a plan, he said. If you have one bring a horse so we can go riding, I said. Ok, he said. Just meet me there do not come to my castle, I said. Why, he asked? Are you serious, I said giving him an are you serious look. Yeah its probley better for me to meet you at the river, he said laughing. I laughed. Well I will see you tomorrow, he said. Yep, I said. Bye, he said. See ya, I replied. Then I began to run up to the castle to see what mother wanted.
