Chapter 5

Haley's POV

O nice to meet you I am Haley, I said extending my hand out to her. She shook it and smiled. Yes dear I know who you are, she said smiling. I moved my hand away from her. How did she know me. I smiled cautiously at her. Excuse me, I said to her as I walked past her back to my bed. I grabbed my book on the way there. I sat on my bed and began to read my book. Evie sweetie can you come here please, I heard Regina call. I closed my book. Yes ma'am I'm coming, I said. I got up and started out of my room. Then I realized Cora was still in my room. I looked at her but walked out anyways. I walked down the stairs and I saw Regina looking at the wall her back was towards me. You wanted me, I asked? Yes my mother is coming and staying with us for a while is that ok, she asked? O yes that is fine I have already met her, I said. How, when, she asked. When I was in my room she appeared and introduced herself, I said. Well then you may go, she said. I started to head up stairs when I stopped. Ma'am, I said. Haley call me Regina and what do you need, she asked? Well I was wondering if by chance you knew a way I could find my mother I mean my real mother, I asked? She looked sad. Well there I one person I know who could help you find your real mother, she said with sadness in her voice. Who, I asked excited. His name is Rumplestilkin, she said. You mean the Dark One, I asked? Yes the Dark One, she said. I know where he lives may I ride to his castle and see if he can help me, I asked? Yes but I am coming with you, she said. Ok, I said. We went to the stables, saddle up and rode off to his castle.

            14 years earlier

Regina's POV

Push, one maid said. I am, I yelled out in pain. I pushed really hard and I heard a cry and babies cry. Its a girl, the maid said. I smiled. What will you name her, father asked? Haley, I said. That is a beautiful name, he said. I smiled up at him. Then suddenly the doors flew open. I saw mother come storming in. Mother please, I began. No, she said like she was reading my mind. Your not taking her from me, I said holding Haley closer to me. Don't be foolish child, she said. She waved her hand and father and the maid fell asleep. What did you do to them, I asked? I erased their memory of this child, she said. Then she waved her hand and Haley was in her arms. Mother please, I begged.  Then she waved her hand and I was in a deep sleep all the memories of me being pregnant with haley and me giving birth to her were slowly slipping away from my memory.

Cora's POV

I walked out of the castle with Haley in my arms. She began to coo and smile. She was very cute. Hello darling, I said looking at her and smiling. She smiled at me. I touched her cheek with my finger and she grabbed it in her little hand. I was falling in love with her. No I can't. I returned to my old self again. I waved my hand and we were at a village. I set her on a step of a house and left a note stating her name and left.

                                                                                 Present Day

Haley's POV

We rode to Rumplestilkin's castle. When we reached his castle I dismounted my horse and headed into his castle. Regina was ahead of me. She just opened the door. There was a brown haired girl cleaning. Regina, she snarled. Hello Belle, Regina said in a sarcastic way. Then Belle noticed me. Hello sweetie who are you, she asked? That is none of your businesses, Regina snapped. Excuse me Regina but I can speak for myself thank you very much, I said. She seemed taken back. I am Haley who are you, I asked? Belle nice to meet you Haley, she said. Belle that is a beautiful name nice to meet you too, I said smiling at her. Then I heard a shrilled laughter. Hello Regina, I heard a man say. I need some information, Regina said annoyed. No you don't she does, he said appearing next to me. I jumped at first because I wasn't expecting him to appear. Isn't that right dearie, he said. Yes, I said. I want to know who my real mother is, I said. All-, he began. All magic comes with a price I know what do you want, I asked? A strand of you hair, he said. I looked at him weird. Deal, I said. He plucked a hair from my head. Here drink this, he said.  Thank you, I said hugging him. He was taken back. I drank it and I saw that Regina was my mother. You, I said happily. She drank some of the potion. She hugged me. Rumple a word, Regina said when I let go of her. They went to another room. She smiled at me. You kind of look like Regina a little bit, she said. Really, I asked? She nodded. I get the feeling you two don't really like each other, I said. We definitely don't get along that's for sure, she said. She seems nice to you, Belle said to me. O she is, I said. She let me stay at her castle and she lets me wonder around it, I found a library full of books I cant wait to read, I said. You like to read, Belle asked? O I love it, I said. Me too, she said. Maybe some day we can go to the market together and get some books, I said. Sounds like a plan, she said. What is your favorite book, she asked. But before I could answer Regina interrupted. Haley lets go, Regina said coming out of the room looking agitated. Can I finish my conversation with Belle, I asked? No lets go, she said getting mad but so was I. I was talking to Belle and I plan to finish my talk, I said growing agitated. Haley lets go, she said getting madder. I turned back to Belle. Well right now I am reading a book called "The Princess" and I love it but I don't know if I can say if I have a favorite so far, I said. Belle was definitely put in an awkward situation. Yeah there are so many good one but my favorite probably has to be "Her Handsome Hero" I bet you would like it, she said. Haley, Regina said almost at her breaking point. I ignored her. I haven't read that one yet I will have to see if I can find it and read it, I said. HALEY LETS GO NOW, she yelled. CAN YOU NOT SEE I AM HAVING A CONVERSATION, I yelled back. I don't care what you are doing lets go, she snapped. NO, I said. Then she waved her hand and we were back at the castle. Go to your room, she said. No, I said. Haley do not start this already go to your room. I began to walked off. Then purple smoke surrounded me and I was in my room. I turned around. Now you will stay in here till I let you out, she said. She shut the door and I went straight for it. I tried to open it but spell was on it and I couldn't even touch the door. UGH, I screamed. I was night time and I wasn't really that hungry so I decided to just go to sleep. I kicked off my heels and got into my night gown. I slipped into my bed and fell fast asleep.
