Haley's POV

I have had that damn dream since I can remember, but I have no idea why. I was walking to Granny's. I walked in and saw Ruby and Granny arguing. I sat down. Granny saw me and instantly turned sweet. Hey sweetie how have you been, she asked? Granny has always been so nice to me and I love her like a grandma. Good, I said smiling. Have you been crying, she asked? Oh yeah I keep having that one dream, I said. Oh poor thing, she said holding my hand. I'm fine though Granny really I am, I said laughing. Are you sure, she asked? Yes, but I would be a whole lot better if you made me a hot coco with cinnamon and apple slice on top, I said. You little stinker, she said playfully hitting my hand. I laughed. I know hot coco with an apple slice on top weird, but I like it. I heard the bell ring which indicated that some one had entered or was leaving. Granny looked up and then whispered something to Ruby. Someone sat by me and I looked to see who it was. Good morning Mayor Mills, I said. Good morning Haley, she said smiling at me. Here you are Haley, Ruby said giving me my hot coco. Thank you Ruby, I said. And here you go Mayor Mills, your usual, she said handing Mayor Mills a cup of coffee. Thank you, she said. Then the bell rang again. I looked and saw a blonde. Oh so that's the new person everyone was talking about on the way here, I said out loud but to myself. I hear the Mayor growl in anger. The blonde stood next to me. Hey kid do you care if I sit here, she asked pointing to the seat on the other side of me. Nope not at all, I said smiling at her. Thanks, she said smiling back. I'm Haley, I said reaching my hand out to shake hers. I'm Emma Swam, she said shaking my hand. Nice to meet you, I said. Hot coco with cinnamon please, Emma said to Ruby. O my gosh, I said. What, she asked confused. When did you get here, I asked? Last night, she said still looking at me confused. You must be Henry's birthmother, I said. How did you figure that out, she asked surprised? Well he missed school yesterday and I didn't see you yesterday and Henry is the only other person besides me and Mary Margret that loves cinnamon on hot coco, I said. Well you are definitely a smart girl, she said. Thank you, I said proud. I heard the Mayor huff in anger behind me and get up to leave. Goodbye Mayor Mills, I said to her and she left. Goodbye Haley, she said leaving. Oh I bet she isn't very happy your here, I said. Nope, Emma said chuckling. Then Henry came in. Mom, he said. He was going to say something to her when he saw me. Hi Haley, he said. Hey bud, I said smiling at him. Henry and I first met when some kids where picking on him and I scared them all away and he has just basically been like a little brother to me ever since.
