Ricky's POV
I dapped all the niggas on the court and followed them over their bench to talk to them.

"Y'all know anything about Rocaine?" I asked.

"He's been around but I herd he slipping." One of them said.

I gave him a confusing look. "It's as if he's worried about something else other then getting his drugs to sell. His shit isn't out as much as it use to and the crackheads are going crazy." He said.

I chuckled. "We'll talk more tonight." I said wiping my face.

"Aye that's your shorty over there?" Another nigga asked me.

I looked over and saw him pointing at Anaya who was tying a little kid laces.

I smiled at her friendly ass always helping kids.

"Nah that's not my shorty." I said.

"Word? Well lemme go and talk to her." He said walking to her direction.

"Hell no." I said stopping him.

"What why I thought you said she wasn't yours?" He asked.

"She's not. But she don't need no nigga fucking with her right now." I said.

"Your fucking her on the low or something?" Another nigga asked.

"You know what I'm out. I'll catch y'all niggas tonight." I said walking away from them.

I approached Anaya and she sighed. "I guess you are a pretty good ball player." She said.

"Pretty good? You didn't see my dunk?" I asked.

"Yea you were ight nothing too special." She said.

I just laughed and grabbed my stuff. "Come on let's go home. Oh and here hold my shirt." I said to her.

I knew everytime I'm shirtless it just made Anaya feel uncomfortable cause it was clear on her face which was funny.

We got in the car and I rolled down the window letting the breeze cool me down.

"You hungry?" I asked.

She nodded her head.

"What you want to eat?" I asked.

She shrugged her shoulders.

I let out a sigh.

So difficult.

"What is it?" I asked.

She gave me a confusing look.

"Why you so quiet? What's on your mind?" I asked.

"Nothing I'm annoying remember. Plus there's nothing really to talk about." She said.

I rolled my eyes. "You still on that annoying shit I said?" I asked.

"I mean you call me annoying everytime I say something so I'm not gonna say anything." She said.

"Fine Anaya you can talk and I won't call you annoying cause you not. Just say something the silence is killing me." I said.

She smiled. "Then turn on the radio." She replied laughing.

I cracked a smile. "Just tell me what you want to eat." I said.

She thought about it. "I don't know you wanna go to Sonic?" She questioned.

"Sonic is fine with me."

I drove searching for the nearest sonic and pulled up in the drive through. I ordered what I wanted and she ordered what she wanted and we waited for our food to come.
